A terrific price for a boys bicycle. My grandson hasn't seen it yet, but I'm positive he will love it as well as the color of it.
This bike is a bit bigger than the 16 inch perfect for 10yr olds.
Good transitional bike for my son. You will need a Philips screwdriver and some wrenches to assemble but it shouldn't be difficult, took about a half hour to do. Rides well, the front brake helps teach brake use for future bikes with hand brakes and the coast brake stops the bike the way most small bikes do so my kid was comfortable stopping on this bike.
I bought this bike online as a gift—as a close-to-last-minute-don’t-know-what-to-get hey, he doesn’t-have-a-bike—gift. For the price (it happened to be on sale) I thought, “What the heck, so it might be a mediocre bike at best. But he’s still learning to ride, so he won’t care.” I didn't expect much. When I received it (had it assembled at the store), I was quite surprised. The bike is visually appealing (especially for a 7 year-old boy); it is an electric green on black with a firm frame and sturdy training wheels. I rode it in the parking lot for a minute (don’t judge me—nor do I recommend this) and it seems to be a pretty solid bike. So far, I’m very pleased with the purchase. For the price (again, I bought it on sale), there is nothing about this purchase that I can complain about. Love Walmart prices (when I can stay focused and buy ONLY what is on my list.) :-P
this is an excellent first bike! dont forget to air up the tires though. The directions were not remarkabley helpful for assembly but good old fashioned know-how prevailed!
My son love his bike it was very eay to assemble. This bike is a great deal for the price
ordered early December, walmart lost the first one during site to store shipping, so it didn't arrive until after Christmas. I think I paid $40 during a special sale, that's maybe a bit more than this thing is worth. definitely a lost cost, low quality bike
THIS IS A CUTE BIKE HOWEVER IT WAS RUSTED. I HAD NOT CHOICE BUT TO PUT IT TOGETHER AND GIVE IT AS A GIFT ANYWAY. MY DAUGHTER IS HANDICAP & COULD NOT RETURN IT. I AM LEFT ORDERING ANOTHER BIKE I AM TAKING A CHANCE IT WILL NOT BE RUSTED.
after several uses, both pedals were broken. returned it to walmart and exchanged with other bike. Walmart was generous on that.
I bought this bike for our 7 year old son. He loves green and the bike looked perfect and received good reviews. Well, my husband put the bike together (his 6th bike in 7 years), and everything seemed good, until it was time to tighten the handlebars. The screw would not tighten enough to keep the handlebars in place. Just when you would think it was tight enough, put some pressure and bang, the handlbars would move down again. Very dangerous! I would not recommend. We are returning the bike and hopefully find a better one with an affordable price tag.
