so far so good. I've been using it for only 2 weeks, but it seems to be functioning well. I do like the ease of operation of the control panel and remote control. It has a rubber plug at the rear of the ac which is very convenient for removing the excess water.

I am currently using this in a living room that is a bit too big for the air conditioner, but it works fantastic! it has grratly cooled this portion of my house and helped so much at the start of this season. It is wuite noisy but that is ok for me. Soon it will be koved to a small bedroom and i feel eill eork even better and cool the entire room. i can actually say i have gotten cold and had to turn it down, which i love!

i have enjoyed it in this heat fest we had in the summer. It has been a welcome addition to my life. I hate the heat and keeping cool is a prime objective. you don't even need to set it to the maximum because your room will appear too cold. it is a very good air conditioner.

would have been perfect except was the wrong voltage. would have had to rewire my home and that would have been a couple thousand to do being up to code.

The unit is heavy, but most are. It works ok for a 20x20 room. The area was never cold but comfortable. The unit was not expensive, so I cannot complain, it did good enough for the price.

originally wanted to order two of these. however I just went with one to see how well it worked. I'm glad I just ordered one. and that's because this isn't what I wanted. I ordered the Frigidaire 5000 BTU portable a/c window unit. instead this is what was delivered. I decided not to take a 35 minute drive to the nearest Walmart and return the philoDeco which I didn't want and just roll with it. total mistake and I'm sorry I didn't return it. this unit is not very good, it's very noisy and sometimes it works ok and sometimes not so much. I'm going to order another a/c soon but will get with Amazon so maybe I'll get what I ordered in the first place.

Unboxing and set up was easy. However, right from the first time I turned it on, anytime the unit was actually cooling. There was a grinding noise. Anytime the thermostat kicked the unit out of cool mode it would go away.

0/10 I bought this AC May of 2025 and it stopped blowing cold air by August. Could not get in contact with anyone to help with the manufacture warranty. Just don't buy.

Hello! I nought this unit as a back up if my AC ever went out. The box looked fine and when i needed it at 120 days after purchase, the whole thing was crushed. the box showed no damage so i didnt even check. Trusted that it would be there when i needed it. fan blades are busted, all plastic is broke, insulation is cracked everwhere, and the coils are bent all to one side. Walmart would not exchange. Disappointed.
