1850 Trailblazer Coffee, Medium Dark Roast Ground Coffee, 12 oz

Astonishingly good. This has made me consider never going back to grinding my own beans. This is like an uber refined and exquisite version of the Folgers that my parents drank in the 80s. Seriously yo. Can't believe I'm writing this. Also, this review is not part of any promotion or influence-type marketing website. I kinda wish they had this in whole bean, to be perfectly honest. It appears that Folgers is entering the gourmet coffee market. This 1850 Trailblazer blend comes in a 12 oz bag like many other brands use in their high end coffee. I haven’t purchased Folgers coffee for many years, as I’ve been using those high end gourmet brands that come in a bag. This medium-dark blend turned out to be very full-bodied and flavorful, not at all bitter, and no silt in the bottom of the cup. We use a coffee brewer that brews at 200 to 205 degrees which has been proven the best temperature for brewing. As it turns out, we can use a little less of this Folgers 1850 Trailblazer than we use of our usual brand and it is plenty strong and full of flavor. The first couple pots we made were a little strong for our taste when we used our usual measurement. Using slightly less gives us a very fine tasting coffee. I will purchase this coffee again as long as it is competitively priced and available in our small town or online from Wamart.

I really like the Folgers 1850 Trailblazer, Medium-Dark Roast Ground Coffee, 12-Ounce. This is definitely a Medium-Dark Roasted coffee an the smell is very aromatic. It smells kinda of woody and the taste is deliciously strong. The directions say to use 2 tablespoons per 6oz of water but I found I preferred to use 8 oz of water instead. The only time I have had coffee that tastes this good and strong was at an actual coffee store. It is great to finally have an awesome coffee right in my kitchen cabinet. I have nothing bad to say about this coffee and the packaging is nice enough to give this coffee as a gift. Folgers instant has always been one of my favorite coffee's but this ground coffee by them is even better to me.

I am a coffee snob by some peoples account or a coffee Connoisseur by my account! I very seldom deviate from the coffee that I purchase… Marrakesh express. I also will try to have at least one cup of cappuccino per day. So you can see I am into my coffee. I will also say that it has been years since I have purchased Folgers coffee but those days are now gone. With this new amazing blend of Folgers 1850 trailblazer medium dark roast ground coffee, I am now hooked on an amazing new brew. When I brew my coffee at home I use a French press. The coarseness of the grind is perfect for a French press coffee maker. Let it steep for four minutes and you have the most amazing coffee that your taste buds will experience! I am truly impressed with this new blend coffee and now the only problem will be trying to find it as I am sure it will fly off the shelves and I also think you will agree to this as well. So when you are out shopping and looking for an amazing new coffee to try I highly recommend this new Folgers brand.

Why the name 1850? Because Folgers was founded and has been around that long. From my grandmother's drip to our single-serve coffee maker, this brand has been a family favorite for several generations. Folgers makes a flavorful coffee, and even though the price of coffee continues to climb, the price for this bag is a little less and equal to other coffee brands. When brewing this coffee the smell of the strong 100% Arabica beans and roasted nuts invades the entire kitchen. I drink my coffee with milk or cream and no sugar. The caramel flavor in this coffee gives the coffee a sweet enough taste for me.

I am reviewing the Folgers 1850 Trailblazer, Medium-Dark Roast Ground Coffee. First of all, I love coffee and have tried many kinds. I tend to like my coffee dark and strong. This is a medium-dark roast and I tried it both black with no sugar and also with a little milk and sugar to see how it was both ways. When I tried it black without sugar the flavor of the coffee seemed like a medium-dark roast so that was very accurate. It was smooth and rich and I felt it was very tasty. I tried it with milk and sugar and I liked it better. There are very few coffees that I enjoy black without sugar but this is now another one of them. The instructions on the bag say to use 2 Tablespoons of coffee per 6oz of water which means they are basically suggesting that it is made double strength. I'm used to making my coffee double and triple strength so that was fine with me but I am finding that more and more coffee companies are recommending this double strength method vs the typical 1 tablespoon of water per 6oz of water. . The bag was nice looking, easy to open and seems like it will keep the coffee fresh for awhile (is of good quality) Overall I would recommend this product for an every day, non flavored coffee. I enjoyed it a lot.

I love trying different flavors of coffee. My husband is strictly a Folgers man so trying a new blend of Folgers made him happy too! This medium roast is excellent. I like my coffee darker so this was just right for me. My husband likes a lighter coffee so this will be my morning coffee when he is at work. It tasted great! It was very smooth with no bitterness at all. The ground is much finer than regular coffee making for a better cup of coffee. I also like the vacuum package. I enjoy a cup of coffee in the afternoons but don’t want it to keep me up all night so will opt for the lighter blend in the afternoon. This finer ground coffee also brews better in a one cup coffee pot. I find that it doesn’t get a burned taste after an hour or so of sitting on the warmer. Give this brew a try! Can’t go wrong with Folgers!

I drink generic-brand, store-bought coffee, with some flavoring syrup added. I tried this without any syrup, then with it. I could definitely taste a difference between this and the low-quality stuff I normally buy. There is a nice but mild earthy taste to it. It's not strong, and certainly not overwhelming. When I added the syrup, it fit my tastes but was obviously a huge improvement on my regular cup of coffee. I don't know if this is something real coffee aficionados are going to find wonderful, but as an average coffee drinker, I'll say this was a real treat. It's definitely better than what I normally have.

Let me start by saying that being from Louisiana; I am a loyal, die-hard Community Coffee drinker and do not change my brand for anyone or anything. That being said, Walmart asked me to give an honest review of this coffee so I will. I have never really been a fan of Folgers because of a slight aftertaste I always picked up on. I don't know what they are doing differently with the 1850 line, but they need to keep it up. This was almost exactly like the roast blend I drink in my preferred brand, which is a HUGE compliment to them. I may not personally purchase this here at home, but while I am out of state in areas where it isn't accessible, I will be sure to purchase this one. It has a rich, robust flavor, with a smooth aftertaste, and just enough bite on the front that it will give you a much needed jolt awake. If you like to experiment with new brands or styles, definitely give this line a try. It's worth it.

I'm used to buying Folgers brand coffee so I thought I'd love this but not so much.it is not strong at all. The taste is not for me.i would not buy this .I'd rather stick to traditional regular flavors. It has a bitter taste if you add to much.
