18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Driver Drill (Tool Only)

The name might have changed from Hitachi to Metabo, but the quality still seems to be the same so far. Short, stout and looks and feels like a quality drill that should last a long time, just as it's predecessor lasted for many years. Very happy thus far with my purchase.

The most impressive thing ( I have 2 of these hammer drills ) is.. I can attach an SDS 5/8 concrete bit and drill my dowel holes for rebar without using my bulldog grabbing a power cord then finding power on the jobsite.. The metal chuck never slips, so drill some holes into concrete with no problem.. And the Red & Black and or the Yellow & Black will surely start smokin . Guaranteed.. Takin all bets.

Great quality drill. Replacing old DeWalt that has batteries that can't keep a charge for more than 10 minuets. Replacement batteries would cost more than this drill. This drill is way lighter and batteries last 10x the old heavy one's. I like the green but mine is black and will hide the dirt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely well built. Best features are how durable and light weight it is. Plenty of power without draining the battery frequently. 2 minor details of improvement would be nice. As often as I have to change out bits it would be nice to have a magnet or clip to hold onto the bits. And the charger can be confusing sometimes when most manufactures have red and green lights for indications of battery charging stats were as this charger only has a red light and you need to make sure you understand what the red light is telling you per instructions. I have to refer back to the instructions frequently just to make sure there are no problems. The good news of the charger is how fast it charges, love this feature as well.

I've liked it so much that I already bought a newer version of it but haven't use it since this original one just keeps going!

Strong torque, adjustable clutch with low/high speed settings, comfortable ergonomics, reasonable battery life for household use & fast charging, great price & a lifetime warranty - this is an awesome drill/driver.

The drill work as expected. The drill has a nifty flash light feature that comes in handy while working on projects. The case that it came in doesn't allow for too much extra so picking up a side bag/case for drill bits and such might not be a bad idea.

Any time the drill is first used or time has passed in between uses it won't start instantly. It's fine if it's used steadily. It has more power and has more revs then my old brush type. I wouldn't hesitate to by it again.
