Install was a breeze, everything lined up perfectly. Actual steps feel very solid when stepping on. I hated sliding across the seat when getting in, prefer to sit right down and keep the wear of the seat down. Good amount of area for your foot even with the extra rocker trim on the 4Runner TRD sport package.
I purchased running boards for years I suffered with factory boards from Toyota horrible couldn't get my foot on them these new boards are perfect for my foot
I haven't put them on yet I watched a video and it shows that I have to drill hole in the my truck my Jeep. So I think I'm going to send them back.
Great product for the price. Could have stronger brackets but still works great. Brackets are steel and i expect them to rust here in PA. Step bar is painted aluminum so we will see over time if the paint flakes off. I am 240 lbs and step bar holds my weight just fine. Easy and simple install.
Bought these running boards for their style and light weight.The installation went smoothly with only one caveat which really has nothing to do with the boards.The instructions said to wire brush the paint out of the mounting studs.That will not work.One has to strip the paint out of the threads by using an M8X1.25 die.That is a magnitude higher difficulty chore.But I got it done everything is great.
They look great and were easy to install, great value for the money.

Pricey but very nice
Bought these because they are rust proof but I was skeptical of the durability. They were very easy to install and so far their durability is very impressive.
Runner is much thinner than I thought. Could use some support in the center. You can actually feel it give when you step on it and I'm not that big. Also thought it came with some type of rubberized tread on it. Would be nice if you want to add some improvement. Installation was easy for doing this for a first time. I also like the way it looks. Delivery was fast! Thank you
