I bought this with the aim of processing dried herbs, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's built solidly, resembling a tank, which explains the price tag. Getting it up and running on my first attempt was a breeze. I appreciate the built-in safety feature that ensures it won't operate unless the cover is on. It ground my herbs to an oatmeal-like consistency, which was a bit coarser than I'd hoped for. Perhaps a longer grind time might yield a finer result. The best part was that the herbs left minimal residue on the blades, making cleanup a breeze.

The product exceeded my expectations, delivering more power than I anticipated, especially for its price point. Honestly, I was under the impression that I was settling for a budget version of a superior product, but this grinder is robustly built, exudes quality, and promises longevity. I had doubts about whether it would be strong enough for my needs, but it chewed through the task with surprising ease. What I anticipated would be a minute-long grinding session was accomplished in literally two pulses! Now, I'm reconsidering if I even needed a larger machine, as this one is outstanding in its performance.

I appreciate the rapidity with which I can transform wheat berries into 4 cups of flour. It makes crafting whole wheat bread, rolls, and other baked goods a breeze. In fact, I haven't purchased store-bought bread since this machine entered my kitchen. Plus, it's a cinch to clean, taking about just a minute.

Powerful unit. I successfully processed lingzhi and other very hard herbal roots with it. Do clean the inside first before using as there can be manufacturing residue (metal bits, etc). I unscrewed the blade assembly and wiped everything down with 90% alcohol and then a moist paper towel. Allow everything to dry completely before reassembling the blades.

I've put this grinder to work a few times, and most recently it shut off after grinding dried milk thistle seeds for just 3 minutes - and never powered back on! Keep in mind, I've only owned this grinder for 3 months. However, when I reached out to customer service, they promptly and effectively resolved the situation. I'm really satisfied with their response - I just wish the grinder itself had been a bit more reliable.

While this product was indeed capable of grinding spices as advertised, it came with a peculiar issue: it halted every 10 seconds, which was perplexing. I had to wait an additional 10 seconds each time to restart it. What didn't sit right with me was the absence of a brand name on the machine itself. Even the box it came in was a plain white, devoid of any company name or logo. This lack of branding made me question the authenticity of the machine, leading me to decide to return it.

When it's up and running, it's fantastic! Had to tinker around to get the grind time right for turning my greens into powder, but once I nailed that, it was smooth sailing. The hiccup comes when it decides to quit after 3 uses. Then it's disassemble, clean, swap out blades, reassemble... and maybe it'll work? It's a hit or miss. Bit of a headache, but still better than nothing.

This gadget just doesn't feel right to me. Sure, it's got power, but the design just lacks in so many ways. The power knob feels like some cheap plastic toy - doesn't exactly instill confidence. After use, the plastic holder turned into a color disaster. Cleaning? Forget about it, as it's a single unit and water is a no-go. Those screws inside - are they even food-safe? Overall, this grinder was a real letdown. I was ready to shell out a bit more for a quality device, but boy was I disappointed.
