Umbrella anchor works if screwed down to the lug
Holds items well in light to medium wind if screwed down to the tightening lug. If you don't to that deep, you risk the wind blowing the umbrella down the beach.

Works great for securing beach umbrellas
This is an absolute life saver when bringing your own umbrella to the beach. Dig a little into the sand then screw it down with some pressure. Umbrella pole slides in and can be screwed down (careful not too hard). Works like a charm. Definitely worth $8 investment.

A beach must have
A beach must have works well with almost all common beach umbrellas. Lightweight and easy to carry. Easy to install and holds up even minor windy conditions.

Great product
Light weight, yet sturdy for beach umbrellas. Great product with good price. I only wish it would come with a carrying bag for storage.

Very stable
Made a huge difference. Screwed deep in sand and added umbrella. You could tell immediately how much more stable umbrella was

Works if you work it!
This item worked well when I was able to get it in the ground deep enough. If it is not deep enough, the weight of the umbrella will cause it not to hold.

Helps if your umbrella doesn't have a sand point.
It helps to get my beach umbrella into the sand, but it would be better if it had a longer, more tapered, and sharper point.
