I have covid and realized I didn’t have a thermometer at home. I’ve been using Braun ear thermometers in my clinic for years and find them to be quick, reliable, and most importantly, accurate. Ive yet to find an infrared or touch-less thermometer that I trust. Useful for adults and quick enough to use on toddlers and above without any fuss, it has a disposable, easily replaceable probe cover. There are newer models but the ThermoScan 5 does exactly what I need it to do so no use wasting more money on extra features. Great shipping from Walmart too. Ordered on Wednesday from my sickbed, because it had just snowed 9”, it said Friday was the earliest I could receive it, but it actually delivered next day. Thank you!

High quality product that is easy and fast to use. Comes complete ready to use with extra protective covers so you don’t need to buy anything extra right away. Easy to use on a squirmy grandchild complete with a pleasant beep when an accurate reading is obtained. We would recommend this for anyone needing a fever thermometer. i bought this for a baby shower as a gift. I have one myself and i've use it for almost 10 years. Mine still works great, thats why I bought one as a gift! It's great for children and adults

The best thermometer we have ever owned by far. Easy to use even on my little one. Very consistent temperature readings especially compared to forehead thermometers we have used in the past. The ear covers are easy to replace and cheap and sanitary. For the current price (about $40) I think this thermometer is totally worth the money!

Needed an ear thermometer. Last.month hubby wasn't feeling well. We had a forehead themothermometer. He had his electric blanket cracked up as he was cold. But he started acting confused. The highest the thermometer went was 99.9. He has had urosepsiss in the past and from 98 to 104 in 8 hours with no symptoms. He got delerious and of course the oral thermometer didn't work. I ended up calling 911. When he got to the ER it was 105.5. They said not to trust the outer skin themothermometer. I almost lost him. They said if If I had waited any longer he wouldn't be here. So my first store delivery included this thermometer. It's easy to use fast and accurate. Includes 20 ear covers. Had I had it prior. My husband would have gotten to the hospital sooner.

Easy to use. The only thing good and bad are the disposable sleeves. It does provide protection from cross contamination. I do wish it had a lighted screen for night time reads.

I like that the numbers are big. I hate that there's no blacklight. Which is a must so will have to return. I've bought cheap one that have a back light. Too expensive for not having back light.

Works great. But it doesn't work without a plastic sheath to sit over the tip. and the plastic sheaths are disposable and very weak. comes with 20. But after one winter, I have to buy more.

So sad that every time I take my temperature it is different. Within minutes it changes by 4 or 5 points. Can not get an accurate reading. Very disappointed!

Braun is a reputable brand that I've liked in the past, but I have to agree with those that said this isn't reliable. I just checked my temp 4 times back to back and got the following readings: 98.2, 99.4, 99.8, and 100.3. It's easy to use but unfortunately seems to have issues getting the right temp.
