I purchased this new-to-me Campbell's Chunky Texas-Style BBQ Burger Soup. I loved it! I do love BBQ burgers, and this tasted good to me.
Great flavor. Pairs nicely with grilled cheese.
Campbell's chunky soup is my favorite.
Perfectly seasoned / flavourful with just the right amount of broth to veggies %26 meat. This one replaces my previous favourite which was the Sirloin Burger. Great for dipping into or crushing your crackers into.
The two were great and I would order them again.
This one surprised me. I didn't think it would be as good. It is really a good change for soups.
I really dislike the sweet taste on the Texas style.
I've tried most of the Chunky line, and this one in particular was gross and disgusting. The flavor seemed a bit unauthentic and wasn't at all Texas BBQ flavor as you would expect. Campbell's Chunky soups from years ago if you still buy them may be great but the new line-up such as this, and their new Spicy Chicken Quesadilla Soup, and other Spicy soups have not been well tested. The flavor of this soup, Texas-Style BBQ was off putting and not homestyle or commercial tasting. It tasted slopped together by the idea makers at Campbell's, very much like the extremely potent Spicy soups which all were 2x spicier than what anybody would expect to be served for normal very hot. I couldn't eat more than half of this can, and the other experimental new flavors they are bringing out!
I wish I thought these soups were better than they are. This one is just not very good at all. It is not hot and it's not too salty. But it just isn't very good either. I may be getting more picky as I get older but I don't think very many people will think this is very good. Frankly I'm surprised that it passed the pre-market tasting to be produced for the mass-market. I don't recommend it.
This is more expensive, but didn't taste any better than the cheap canned soups
