My fav retinol ever, perfect for sensitive skin

I started using the CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum about a week ago. Scent: Very light , almost no strong smell. Packaging: simple and clean, easy to use with a pump. Sensitivity: Felt gentle on my skin, good for sensitive skin. Irritation: no burning or redness for me so far. Ongoing use: I've been using it consistently and my skin feels smoother over time.

This is a great retinol for starters since it is a very gentle formula. It works great for oily and dry skin. Me and my boyfriend have used this for a few years and it works great for both of us! It had also helped him with breakouts and black heads. And for me it has been great for redness and skin texture.

very light cream that goes on easy, smooth, and absorbs quickly. there is no greasy feel, or offensive odor. I use before bed and it has made a world of difference. Only takes a minute or less. My friends asked me what I was doing and I told them and now they are doing too.

This retinol serum is improving my skin. It's so gentle which was important to me but still works. It feels great going on, absorbs nice. And so far is lasting me forever. At the price point, you really can't beat it!

I've been using this CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum for a few weeks and I'm really impressed. It feels lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I've noticed my skin looks smoother, more even, and my acne marks are slowly fading. I also love that it keeps my skin hydrated thanks to the ceramides. Definitely a great option if you're starting with retinol.

My go-to for years. I spend a lot of time furrowing my eyebrows at work and I was starting to get “11” lines/wrinkles in-between. I use this to keep them at bay and it helps. Because I have sensitive skin, I use a nighttime moisturizer first and only use where needed at night. I would NOT use this around the eyelids or lips.

This product helps a lot if you have fine lines or any wrinkles. I use this over my milia and it help me make them smaller since they were really noticeable on my face. The absorption is really good and easy to apply on all skin types. It doesnt have a scent which is good.

This is not the same thing as the Cerave RESURFACING Retinol Serum, which actually has enough retinol in it to do something. Like most of these kinds of products, this is mostly just hyaluronic acid, which instantly plumps up your skin by drawing in water, and makes it look like this stuff does something when actually it doesn't. Actual retinol serum contains enough retinol to have an effect, and takes TIME to work (weeks, months, etc.). If you think this product works because of the hyaluronic acid plumping that happens right after using it, you have been fooled and misled.
