This tastes great, full of some kind of flavor. It is ideal when thinking of a corn mix that has ethnic to it. It is superior to other canned corn. It is not too salty. Again it has a great unique flavor. We need all vegetables made with their great unique flavor; I know that it can be done.
This stuff is great! I love the flavors and the poblano peppers. It's an easy way to add some veggies to your spanish rice, or even add to some mac n cheese for a southwest vibe! You can get creative with it. Highly recommend!
I was really glad to be able to find this. I think it used to be called Mexicorn but perhaps someone found that name offensive. At any rate, this is the same thing and I will buy and use it again often.
We mixed this Southwest corn(drained), two cans, with a brick of cheddar jack cheese, a cup of shredded cheddar, and a brick of cream cheese, in the crockpot on high until melted, seasoned with taco seasoning. Serve with cantina style tortilla chips. Sometimes we stir in ground beef.
If you are looking for a change when making dinner this Corn adds some very good taste. I recommend you give it a try you will like it.
I absolutely love the southwestern taste of this corn. It's delicious! I have been enjoying it for years.
Drain it, toss it in a bag of Taco chopped salad fixings along with a can of black beans and shredded chicken, and…. DINNER!
Super tasty. Great in a salsa, a salad, soups and stews. Try it you'll like 'em too. Use in a southwestern wrap those are really good.
Great product! Well seasoned sweet corn ready to eat straight out of the can. We usually heat it for a good side dish with any basic American or TexMex meal. Also a perfect ingredient for salsa type dip, tortilla soup, etc. Relatively cheap but costs 3 times as much as Walmart brand plain corn. Adding a brand name and a few peppers does not justify that. Walmart, here's an opportunity.
I like this corn seasoned with red and piblano peppers. It's a nice alternagive though a bit pricey.
