We've had DirecTV for almost 2 years and when our contract is up, I'll probably cancel service. Their remote control was probably made in some 3rd world country by a 10 year old which would explain the lack of quality built into it. This is the 3rd remote we've had to order. What impressed me the most about ordering this product was how quickly we received the remote from the seller; the seller is located on the East Coast while I'm located in Idaho. It took only 4 business days to arrive at our house instead of the initial estimate of 7-10 days.

Same remote from Direct TV. Am sure your time spent on phone with Direct TV is worth more than the cost of these 2 remotes. I did not notice any difference at all between the remotes Direct TV sends out. If you are familiar with original remote you won't miss a beat. Helpful instructions on programming and what each button is used for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was quite surpirsed with the delivery time. The remotes arrived well before the expected delivery date. Pairing the remote to the direct tv genie and then the tv was complete very easy and in only a matter of mintues. Both remotes arrived with 2 batteries for each remote as well. The remotes function very well and I'm glad to have a good experience. I would defintiely recommend to anyone needing this product.

These did not work for us. After a long call with Direct tv provle.m wasnt solved . So direct tv sent replacement remote. It worked immediately.
