Very good value! The handle is hefty and ergonomic friendly. Previous ones I've owned have been thin and flimsy. This was comfortable in my hand.

The soft gripe handle is great for older hands that still sew.

I finally remembered to buy a seam-ripper. The perfect handy gadget to rip out those annoying sewn-in neck or waist labels that can really rough-up tender skin. This is very quick and easy to use and be careful as it is sharp! Take your time and use good lighting to make it easier. Has a very comfy handle that fits you hand better than the skinny and straight ones. And it also has a snug yet easy to remove clear plastic cap that stays on perfectly til you remove it. Seam rippers are inexpensive and really make life easier when you need to sew and mend clothing. It's the perfect little helper.

I recommend this item for its long term hold. I knew to sewing and used 4 seam rippers. This one was compared to a Japanese one I bought from Amazon. The difference is this had a cap so it stores easy. Both rips seam very smooth made the dreadful task much quicker. So much better than the seam rippers that came with my sewing machine.

Great in a pinch, the grip on this is very nice and holding is more ergonomically friendly and has a better ease of use than others. The only thing I would change is making the insertion tip a bit thinner but the blade has a good sharpness and the cap is nice but tends to fall off.

This seam ripper handle is easy to grip and would be great for someone with fine motor skill issues. It regards to sharpness, it will get the job done, but may fray thicker fabric. I would give if a 9 out of 10 for ease of use.

I like the bigger handle the only complaint I have.Is that the lid doesn't fit on the bac So you have to set it down and I am terrible at losing lids.

I think I got a dud. I think there was a manufacturing error on mine. When I opened up the package I noticed the place where the metal is scrawled out, for the functional sharp part, wasn't lined up on one side. So it's sharpened in the right place on one side and the wrong place and angle on the other. This made it not super effective to use. The cheaper one I bought with it is way sharper. I do like that the pointy end party is smaller and goes into fabric easier on this one than the cheap one.
