The Hosley Metal Pail with Chalkboard is a really cute item that has a multitude of uses. I think that having several of them would look good in an office or bathroom or other room where you wanted a country-ish feel to the decor, while being functional as well. This metal pail is a little larger than a quart of ice cream for reference. The chalkboard portion of it is fairly large and allows you room to write or draw. It cleans up easily with water and allows you to use it over and over again. I believe the chalkboard is made with paint. The metal looks kind of like galvanized metal. It's reminiscent of old-fashioned buckets or cans. It has a rustic feel to it. The handle is easy to remove but also holds it up nicely. It's attached with a little "L" shaped bend to the ends of the handle. I don't know if it's waterproof or not. It is metal so it's quite durable. I have put some bathroom accessories in it for a sense of the dimensions.

Great small bucket.

Bought it for my boyfriend to put his keys and things in when he comes over...and wrote his name on the front in cute lettering. Bonus it has a chalkboard which you can erase anytime you need to. :)

Im using for my coffee pods to put in to u cutter my counter space also did it with the cleaner pods too.

Chalkboard is bad...cannot write on. The first pail I ordered you could write on. This one not at all. The whole point for me was to have the chalkboard to write on. I put a sticker on it for Christmas but stickers work on the metal part too so the Chalkboard is useless.

Pail is cute and fits my decor just right, only if it was intact. Unfortunately, the pail came in defective. One of the handle braces became unwelded therefore the handle is off. There's also a dent on the rim opening of the pail, which I could had work with if the handle was stable in place.
