(2 pack) EPIC Bison Bacon Protein Bites, Whole30, 2.5oz

The taste and texture are great - it is good as a snack, expecially with some sharp cheese. This is my favorite of this type of bar and the best one from EPIC -my only wish is that it had more protein! Since that is my main focus these days.

I'm a bit of a jerky novice, but I love these bison/bacon bites. They are definitely on the sweet side, so if you prefer a more teriyaki-type flavor, these are probably not for you. That aside, I love the flavor, which is relatively mild, and the texture is unlike any other jerky product I've had -- super soft, moist, and fresh tasting. Also like that they're made from bison, which (dependent on how it's raised) tends to be easier on the environment. Great stuff here and my personal favorite Epic product so far.

I've never been a fan of jerky. Mostly because it hurts my teeth and takes forever to chew. Then I came across the Bison Bacon bites in my local supermarket. I've had bison burgers and knew how tender the meat is, so I took a chance and bought a bag. I loved how soft the bites were! The flavor was mild (which is good...I'm not into spicy) but pleasant, and I ate the entire bag in one sitting. Ordered two boxes of these to have on hand, either for a snack at home or to carry in my backpack when I go out. These are perfect if you're low carb and want a healthy, portable snack that makes your teeth happy!

These are super tasty and moist. So easy on the teeth for chewing compared to other brands. Love the convenience of the zip bags too. They're too expensive for me to buy regularly. But a nice treat when Epic does big sales here and there.

Sweet and savory say it all. This protein snack is great when you're on the go or when you need some extra protein. The texture is smooth and caramelised with sweet and savoury notes, including pieces of dried raisin and bacon bits.

These truly are Epic. They are sweet and savory. I could easily make a meal out of them. Epic does it again.

Love the sweet, meaty flavor and soft, easy-to-chew texture, plus the attention to salt -- most jerky/meat bar products are way too salty. Your venison is a good example of being way over-salted, and your pork is both too salty & way too greasy, but bison bites are just right. The two times I tried your salmon products, I wanted to like it, but it smelled rotten each time I opened the sealed package. It was also too salty. I really miss your turkey/cranberry strips & bars! Epic's turkey products were by far the best of all the dried/long-lasting, light weight, easy travel food product Epic ever made. Your turkey products always got 5 stars from me. Why was the turkey discontinued? It seemed popular as it was often sold out when I checked your website during the last two years before you discontinued it. Did Nestle do it when they bought Epic? Your only products that are still decent are the bison and wagyu beef products. The wagyu beef is a little too fat, but it leaves a pleasant film of grease on my lips that's better than any lip balm product!

I tend to prefer tough, tear your teeth out type jerky. This product was tastey and enjoyable to eat but perhaps too soft a texture for me personally. One complaint: when I saw raisans in the bag, I almost fell over. Im a through and through carnivore. I bought it for meat, not for prunes.

This bag is SO tiny- the size of my hand!!!!! Totally not worth the price theyre charging! Sticking with my old trapper go to jerky from now on!

This was one of the most disgusting things I have ever experienced. my package arrived inngood condition, i took the bag of jerkey and put it in my bag to take to work. on the way I home I was stuck in traffic and hungry, but then I remember I had that new bag of jerky with me so I reached in the dark and tore it open, and popped a peice in my mouth. But the taste wasn't right at all, innfact it was something most foul. I turn innthe overhead light and look and it is COVERED IN MOLD!!! I spit it out immediately and called Walmart customer service because, to be frank, I was ANGRY. They say they can't refund me, the third party has to do it, but to call back in a few days any they'll be able to do it then. so I throw it out and call back a couple days later. The new CS rep says- oh no I can't refund you but I will tell IHerb to refund you and explain what happened to them. Today I get an email from IHERB stating they won't refund me unless I can send them pictures of the lot %23 and photographic evidence. which obviously I can't do because I threw the bag of mold away. So it looks like I'm out the money, which I really dont care about. Word to the wise though DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER IHERB. ALSO WALMART DOES NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE QUALITY OF THEIR THIRD PARTY SELLERS. BUYER BEWARE.
