(2 pack) Equate Effervescent Overnight Antibacterial Denture Cleanser Tablets, Mint Fresh, 84 Count

I bought these Equate overnight denture cleanser tablets because I wear a plastic night guard for teeth grinding. After a few weeks of use, that thing starts smelling like old socks no matter how much I brush it. I figured if these tablets are strong enough for dentures, they should handle my night guard just fine. The tablets are small, about the size of a nickel. You drop one into a cup of warm water, and it immediately starts fizzing like a science fair volcano. The fizz lasts maybe three or four minutes, but the instructions say to let whatever you're cleaning soak overnight. I left my night guard in the solution for about eight hours. The next morning, the water looked a little cloudy and had a faint minty-chlorine smell. Not overwhelming, but noticeable. My night guard came out visually cleaner, with none of that filmy buildup that usually needs scrubbing. More importantly, the odor was completely gone. Just a very faint clean smell left behind. Here's what I don't love. The tablets leave a slightly slippery residue on the guard, so you have to rinse it really well under cold water before putting it in your mouth. I learned that the hard way with one gross-tasting morning coffee. Also, the packaging says antibacterial, which I like in theory, but I wish they specified what exactly that means. I'm hoping a single container lasts me a few months since I only soak my guard twice a week. The tablets seem stable so far, no crumbling in the bottle. Great for dentures, retainers, mouth guards, or anything that lives in your mouth overnight. Clean teeth jail, no more stink

I've used this product for... what seems like forever, many many years. most of all I enjoy the price, I enjoyed the quality. I can make sure that my dentures are securely being cleaned. even as I sleep. I'm never bothered by The taste or smell of it the next morning. so the price to me is great and the quality of it is great and I do recommend this label ..wholeheartedly.

I use these to clean my mouthguard, and it works great! I like that I can leave my mouthguard in the solution all day. My only suggestion would be to make the cutting line on the wrapper easier to see.

I use this product to clean a mouth guard used at night for clenching. This type of product was recommended by my dentist. I feel it has done as expected and at an affordable cost.

I purchased these for my mom and she loves them. They're individually wrapped perfect for trouble. They clean well and her minty fresh and don't leave any nasty after taste.

These clean and refresh and leave a peppermint smell. I rotate every other day using baking soda to clean. My dentist recommended this method the longevity.

this denture cleaner is worth every penny for cleaning your dentures that has a great taste after using it overnight to clean your dentures it has a nice smell to it it's at a great price I buy this all the time to clean my dentures

I purchased this when my usual brand was not available. It might clean just as good, but the flavor/taste was definitely not up to par. I will pay more for my name brand instead of buying this again. Just my personal opinion, as this might be perfectly fine for other customers.

1/2 the price of brand name, they break inside the packaging, hard to tear the pouch they are in....(arthritic hands), clean almost as good as branf name but didn't give me product sastisfaction.....will go back to brand name and look for sale prices

I always rinse the teeth off after they have soaked so I can't tell you how it tastes. It's hard to know if this whiten teeth as the teeth do not seem any whiter after being soaked even overnight.
