I originally bought this for preserving wildflowers, but after reading about all the different uses for glycerin online, I started wondering what else people are doing with this stuff. By the time I got to the checkout, I realized I was holding a bottle that probably has one of the widest ranges of legitimate—and very strange—uses of anything Walmart sells. The cashier gave it a quick glance, I gave an awkward nod, and we silently agreed not to ask any follow-up questions. As for my intended use, it worked perfectly. It was clear, easy to pour, and did a great job helping preserve my wildflowers without making a mess. Excellent product. Just know that if you buy glycerin, everyone assumes you're either a botanist... or into something they'd rather not hear about. Five stars.
I like that it is affordable and I can find it at the store. I use this mostly in my craft room to create my own stamp cleaning mixing it with baby shampoo.
Good stuff for winter cracked, dry, peeling, hurting hands or even light dabs on the face, like under the eyes or crows feet at nite. Years ago bought the Humco brand and besides the label, I cannot tell the difference even with having a small amount left of the Humco. Glad Walmart carried and shipped this item.
This product appears to be in high purity and spreads very well when mixed with a bit of moisturizer. Recommend to apply at nights on extremely dry areas such as feet, heel and hands.
I'm a big fan of glycerin. And it's a perfect thing to mix up with rose water and the lemon for most of the skin issues. I even mix up this with water to spray in my hair to maintain its moisture. Even It is very good for sore throat.
They delivered this little bottle of magic right to my door, like they knew I was tired of giving my paycheck away for tiny bottles of juice. Sure, the chemist in me isn't winning any awards, but with a little shake, shake, shake, I've got mix that could fool the pros. A little DIY never hurt anyone and your wallet will thank you. ***Just make sure you're getting "VG" and that it is "USP" and has no alcohol.
Great for treating dry skin! There's no scent and it's not sticky once dry. A couple of drops is all that's needed.
First time using glycerin for dry skin. Works good but you need to let it soak in before getting dressed. Potential for oily stain in clothes.
I bought this as recommended to soften my feet. No smell, but very messy. I then tried it with my lotion..no help. Says it adds moisture, but for me it didn't. Maybe there are other uses for this product. Equate is a good name, just didn't help for my purpose.
Purchase this to try on tires. Hopefully they will help retain moisture on the side walls and keep tires from cracking. Cannot comment on longevity, but this does not last as long as my McGuire‘s tire gel. Will go back to that.
