I switched to this contact solution after I could no longer get the equate brand of clear care. It cleans my contacts well and I have not had a problem with the switch. I've worn contacts for around 35 years.
This seems to be a gentle formula and doesn't irritate my eyes at all. It is also less expensive than other contact lens solutions so I highly recommend.
Great for my regular soft contact lenses. I think the price for this product beats any more expensive one and it does a great job of cleaning my contacts.
Best contact solution on the planet!!! Cleans my contacts the same as the overly priced stuff, and I don't have to stress about using it because it's not too expensive!!! You get 2 big bottles for less money than 1 bottle of the way too expense brands!!! And I don't care what your eye doctor says, this contact solution is the same as the high priced stuff! There's no way I'm paying triple the amount for expensive stuff, when I can get this for way cheaper!!! Thank you EQUATE!!!
Bought this for my kids slime obsession so we could make our own! It worked perfectly and has boric acid which is what we needed for the slime to work. Purchase if you need to make slime for your kid.
Walmart's Equate Multipurpose Solution has essentially the same ingredients as Bausch & Lomb's re-nu. It uses the EXACT same preservative and formulation. For the reviewers that found that their eyes started burning after a few days use, I too seemed to experience a bit of that. My solution was to buy Equate Sterile Saline solution also. I follow the recommended procedure to clean and store but prior to insertion, I will rinse with the saline solution instead of the multipurpose solution. This seemed to cure the problem for me. I can't say that it will work for everybody but it worked for me. This entails having to deal with two bottles but the cost is actually less in the long run because the plain saline solution costs a bit less than the multipurpose solution.
This stuff is great for cleaning lenses - and if you feel as if your eye is starting to get inflamed or is getting pink from germs getting in it - right away - rinse your eyes over and over totally flushing them out several times per day for a couple of days and it will get rid of whatever it is (guck/inflammation/infection) - we keep a supply of this in the house at all times - and we have not had to go to the doctor for pink eye in years
My husband says it works as well as the expensive vrands for half the cost. Its the only brand we buy now
is a great Multi-Purpose solution it keeps my contacts moisturize and clean ready for another day of wearing
First time I have ever bought solution that wasn't name brand and I have spent all morning regretting it. I do jot know what the heck was in this bottle, but it wasn't saline.... Or at least not properly buffered saline. My eyes are on fire, red and inflamed. Buyer beware.
