Clearing your new filter cartridge
After installing cartridge, I ran 4 gal. of water through it and the water was clear; but the next day it was cloudy again, so I ran another 2 gal. through it and it is now clear.

Longevity of filter is based on quantity of water filtered without taking into consideration the quality of the source water. Might be more a criticism of the refrigerator manufacturer than the filter.

I have enjoyed my filtered water andI have been using your Everydrop for years now and just got a water test that says I have PFOS and PFOA in my well water. (They tested directly from the well so not through your filter.). Can you tell me does your filter reduce PFOS or do I need to change filters now that I know there are PFOS. It is not mentioned but I thought that ANSI 53 was for PFOS. Thank you

I have been buying these filters for my fridge for approximately 6 years and I have experienced faulty filters 3 times. It is very inconvenient as water leaks all over the inside of the fridge and into all the drawers. You have to take absolutely everything out in order to dry the contents, shelves and the drawers!!!! I now know that trick to testing the filter to ensure its not faulty. You hold container under the filter hatch, push the door closure button, and press the water dispenser all at the same time.

will buy this elsewhere next time
I've purchased this filter numerous times. I have concerns because this time the display packaging had scotch tape on it. Did I get a used/returned item? It definitely doesn't sound as forceful as previous filter. These filters are expensive. Not happy that I have to question the authenticity of my product. Probably should have returned it, Won't be buying this through Walmart next time.

Incorrect filter
This is the second time I ordered this filter and when it was time to replace the old filter - this new one would not go into the refrigerator filter holder. Something is wrong with these filters. The description code is correct on the box but does not fit! (One-Pack EFR2RXD1)
