I really like these beans! They plump up to yummy morsels of soft buttery goodness. They absorb flavors of the liquids they are cooked in and have a really nice texture. I like to cook with dried beans to begin with but I think these stand out in the flavor dept. They are excellent in a white chicken chili and on there own in a seasoned broth. They have the shape of a kidney bean or cannelli bean but are more round almost like an oval . They say they mash nice for refried beans but I like the texture so much that I am hesitant to smooch them. This brand is very fresh and cooks up well. I soak them over night and change the water next day Before cooking in the crock pot. Delicious!!

never bought dry garbanzos before. Wow! they are something else when prepared 'just right'.

Good beans but no info on where they were grown
I go through a lot of garbanzo beans for hummus. I've bought about 10 bags so far. Haven't had insects yet. The beans taste as good as any other garbanzos. They're super cheap but it doesn't seem to affect the quality that I can taste. It would be nice to know if they are GMO or not and what county they were grown in so that lack of transparency is definitely a minus.

Totally incorrect fiber content
This has happened on more than one occasion. Walmart will list the nutrition value on this phony product as 25 grams of fiber per serving, it only has 14. Had I known this I would not have even ordered them. Maybe I need to shop in store for food items so I can actually see the bag nutrition before I buy it. Please get your nutrition facts right, some people order based on the nutrition!!!!!
