The name “Fiskars” in the scissors world means you are buying the best! The Fiskars Graduate Scissors are adult sized scissors which are an ideal size for teens, college students, teachers and of course, graduates! They have an ergonomic handle which is wonderful for comfort and control while cutting. These scissors accommodate right and left hand users and have a larger finger loop as well as an ergonomic thumb loop. They are well constructed with pointed tip stainless steel blades to enhance your cutting needs. The blades are very sharp enabling you to cut foam, felt, poster board, paper, cardboard or lightweight cotton or plastic. These all purpose scissors would surely be your “Go To” scissors for your school, home or office needs. They are reasonably priced and come in several different colors with a full lifetime warranty. The best part about these scissors is they are easy to use and do not hurt your fingers or cramp your hands! They will not disappoint you!

These are a solid choice for a general purpose scissor. Don't let the "student" designation fool you into thinking these are little kid safety scissors. They are full size. Feel comfortable in the hand. The plastic handle is nice and thick so they don't hurt when tackling up long cutting project. Definitely right handed. Very sharp (although in my house, my kids will surely use them for some unapproved purpose and ruin them!). I took the picture next to a standard box of tissues to give you a size reference. Overall - I highly recommend these!

These scissors work well but the handles tend to break after a relatively short period of time

These don't cut cardboard well. In fact I cut my finger trying to open a box with them. They were fine for cutting paper and my dog's hair. They are obviously sharp because they cut my finger so easily, but I had to struggle trying to cut through the cardboard.
