[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has occasional constipation and gets very uncomfortable while trying to go, sometimes to the point of holding it in, which makes matters worse. She is 5 so the recommended dose is 1-3 chewable tablets. One to two tablets is all we need. More than two makes her stool very runny. It usually works in a few hours for us. She really enjoys the watermelon flavor and the relief these tabs bring her!

Pedia-Lax seems to be ok for this situation. She is usually able to clean out after a dose or two. I'm happy to be able to keep her off of that powdered chemical stuff!
