Saturate a cotton ball and hold it on closed eyes for 10-15 seconds. Then gently wipe away all trace of even waterproof mascara and eye makeup. Saturate another cotton ball and gently wipe away all foundation, moisturizer, sunscreen, and the day's dirt and environmental pollution. Leaves skin feeling clean , fresh, never tight or dry. I wear contacts and Micellar Water does not leave eyes greasy or contacts with a blurry film. Love this product for removal of makeup!
It works well and takes off waterproof mascara. It leaves my skin, feeling smooth and not greasy.. There is a very, very slight scent, but it is pleasant. The design of the bottle is thoughtful as well. If you accidentally knock it over, it will not all spill out because of how opening is designed.
this is so easy to use in the morning. And I can see that it's working by looking at the pad that I use to apply this item. The best way to clean your face in the morning!
I've used this product for years and it helps so much removing makeup. My granddaughter just started using makeup (mascara) and I have bought it for her to try. The earlier she starts using it, the less wrinkles she will have when she gets to be my age.
Have seen micellar cleansing water before and thought it was just another beauty buy $$$ and not necessarily really needed. After finally deciding to try it, I was quite surprised. I use it in the mornings especially, as it is a fast/easy way to clean my night cream off. I have used it to take my full-face makeup, including regular mascara as well and it cleans well. I will continue to buy my regular foaming scrub cleanser that helps clean my pores but will keep using the MICELLAR cleansing water as an alternative. PROS: Gentle, easy to use, no scent, excellent alternative to regular cleansers, really does clean my full-face makeup %26 mascara %26 removes residue, dries quickly with no rinsing, does not irritate my closed eyes, and using it in the morning really quickens my makeup routine! I really think it works very well as a cleanser. It's worth a try (I haven't tried with cotton pads; I use 1/4 of a regular soft washcloth - you do NOT need a lot as it squeezes out fast and soaks that 1/4 of washcloth enough to do my face)
I rather use micellar cleansing water to remove make up than make up wipes. I do feel a difference when in comparison to removing make up with make up wipes vs using micellar cleaning water. Definitely recommend purchasing the small bottle if you don't wear make up that much. I say a little goes a long way.
WOW. I have used Philosophy Purity for years to take off makeup. It costs 15 to 20 dollars. This fantastic product is as good,no burning, takes off makeup easily and was less than 6 dollars. Garner needs to advertise this product more. I love it😊😊😊
It's ok. I was hoping this would be similar to the Neutrogena I've used for a while, but it doesn't remove my mascara as well. It takes a lot more on the cotton ball so not saving money really. And, I have to rub a little more, which in my 50's is a bit rough on the delicate eye skin. Also, when I wake up in the morning, I have residue below my eyes from where it apparently did not remove all the mascara! Not bad, but will not be purchasing again unless options are limited.
Use the pink one **DON'T USE THE BLUE ONE** -- the pink version Garnier cleansing water is wonderful. My eye lids are very sensitive since I am using Latisse. The pink Garnier is the only make up remover that I can use to totally remove make up and mascara from my eyes without burning my eye lids. I thought I give the blue one a try and what a mistake. It felt "scratchy" when I applied it -- I thought maybe there was something in the cleaning pad. But the next day I could feel my eye lids became really sensitive to the touch. I am going back to the Pink and I have to toss the Blue. Don't want to risk it again.
Not really sure if it's the cause but I tried this for the first time and my eyelashes started falling out. The only thing I've changed is going from cera-ve to the garnier. Discontinuing use and crossing my fingers they grow back.
