(2 pack) Great Value 100 % Arabica French Roast Ground Coffee, Dark Roast, 24.7 oz

I've been buying GV French Roast coffee for years. Its taste is comparable to Starbucks but not quite as acid. I love the new can! It saves so much room in my pantry! And, I can easily grasp it with one hand using the side indentioned shape. I also like the modern geometric look. Some people complained about not being able to scoop out coffee due to the design. They must be using a huge scoop. I use a 4 oz stainless steel measurer. Two thumbs up, Walmart, for a new functional design for a great-tasting coffee line.

not being able to get the usual kind of walmart coffee that i usually buy, gave this a try. Well guess what, i like the french roast much better, more flavor so now thats the kind i'm getting. I like good strong flavored coffee

We enjoy dark coffee . This more than meets our needs. The only issue I have is its lack of availability. So I have to buy it online most of the time.

I love the coffee. Absolutely love the new can. The can is easy to hold and if you forget and leave it out on the counter it looks great.

So smooth.. Not bitter at all.. This is my new favorite coffee.. It is a good price.. I am switching to this brand dark french roast..

This is really tasty coffee, but the new container is ridiculous. Odd shape for storage and not compatible with big hands. Sometimes fit needs to align with function. There is no need to get 'fancy' with some unique coffee container that no other company in the free world has adopted. What was wrong with the metal cans? Nice-sized and easily recycled. Heck, if anything, it would be nice to see a bigger version of the metal cans up to 3 lbs, but the smaller cans probably keep the coffee fresher longer. Anyway, no need to mess with a good thing.

the new packaging is terrible. thank goodness that i had an empty can to poor it in. get rid of the new box!!!

I just discovered this wonderful coffee and like other buyer's have voiced, am EXTREMELY upset Walmart has increased the price by $3 a can!! Price hike literally happened overnight. I had a 2nd can in my cart on Thursday, Friday I went to purchase and WHAM - up to almost $10! Maxwell House and Folgers are cheaper. Come on WALMART - your Great Value isn't such a "Great Value" anymore is it?!?????

Love this coffee, how dumb to now put it in a stupid container, when the can container was just fine and worked fine. So now the price goes up. Who makes these stupid decisions. Great product, was a great price. Now its like $3 more for the same amount of coffee. You just can not FIX STUPID. 1 Star, not because of the coffee, which is fantastic, the stupid container and price hike.

Do NOT like the "NEW" plastic container (made of HDPE-2). The reasons being: 1. It is NOT user friendly because of its' design. It is difficult to access/measure desired amount as product level drops. This is not an issue with the 24.2 oz. metal container. 2. Container is 100% HDPE-2, which is not environmentally friendly. However, the 24.2 oz metal container is.
