I have only tried the black and brown colors so far, but they worked well. I used black to color both cake and frosting. The cake batter looked a little gray and I thought about adding more coloring, but I didn't. I was surprised that the cake baked up darker and looked great! The brown is nice to have if you want brown frosting without it being chocolate flavored (which is the only other way I know how to get brown).

Worked good for me. Black was black as expected. Not green or gray as some people. If colors not rich enough add more gel. Brown was also very nice

Be VERY careful with this, even the smallest amount, on skin can be disastrous. The color intensity, richness of the shades and overall outcome /product itself is genuinely outstanding and very impressive for a store brand product, at such a low price. I'm an avid baker, cake decorator and crafter and have tried every food safe dye under the sun, for over 20 years. This is the best black food dye on the market, by far. Seriously, be careful as it does stain skin, clothing and hair. (My formerly white Cats tail is still striped, months later 😂) I purchased 3 variations of the food color, the dark shades, pastels and neon's. All were outstanding 👏

Really great product. Just a couple drops made a rich colored icing. Only thing to be careful about it getting on hands because does stain a little bit. Would definitely recommend for any baking or food needs.

The gel food coloring was good. The only negative was that the black never got black. Not even close to the darkness on the box image. I used the entire bottle and it only got to a grey shade.

the packaging and visual is misleading. It seems that purple will be in line up but its not
