I use this cherry gelatin to make summer dessert. I use mother-in-laws recipe using cherry gelatin with crushed pineapple and cherry pie filling. Then I top it with whipped cream. This Great value brand is as good as other name brands and the price is great.
Cherry gelatin does not whisper. It enters the room in bold red and demands attention. Flavor? Classic cherry punch — sweet with that little tang that says, “Yes, I am fruit-inspired and proud.” It tastes like childhood birthday parties and questionable amounts of whipped topping. The 6 oz box means serious business. This is not a dainty side dish. This is a centerpiece. A statement. A wobbling ruby monument. It sets smooth, slices clean, and looks fantastic in layered desserts. Add fruit? Excellent. Add whipped cream? Legendary. Cherry doesn't come to blend in. It comes to shine. Five stars. Would absolutely serve at a holiday gathering and pretend it's “for tradition.” 🍒✨
Great: Flavor, texture, sweetness and size. Takes a double or triple batch to make a large amount for a party or extra large family but that is to be expected.
great value jello is comparable to name brand in every way and it is cheaper too. I always use it for every need.
tastes the same as Jell-O
It's a really good treat. It tastes good and is cheaper.
The big W done scored with another dessert treat. That's right. Ya got a read the labels, folks. This one ain't bad, %26 I jacked it up some before diving into summertime cool. Buddy, if you're into eating mystery chemical concoctions that do a bunch of unpleasantry to your body, skip gelatin %26 pectin %26 such like that, %26 keep starving on trendy vegan crap %26 overly processed fast-food. Get your fix on jumbo bags of chips %26 2 liter jugs of diet soda Pepsi. What I did is a thing you should consider, not blindly copy. Imma tell you what now. You put the lime in the coconut %26 call me in the morning. That's right. I used cherry juice instead of water to intensify that flavor. Plus, I used lemonade ice cubes in some of it. Refrigerate it until set, Buddy. Dice a can of peaches, drain through a sieve, then spread the peach bits across the set gelatin. Use that peach %26 pear juice instead of water in a batch of plain gelatin with more lemonade ice to cool it before gently pouring onto the red stuff covered with diced peaches. Refrigerate it until fully set. If your dish has space, put another batch of red onto watcha got there. They's more good things to do with gelatin desserts. Likes me some good gelatin.
I ordered several flavors of Equate gelatin to stock up. First one was Strawberry and it did not set at all. I tried the Cherry then, being very careful to get the amount of water perfect. It still did not gel correctly. Very disappointing to have product that the price has increased but is not successful for a recipe.
Not what I ordered. I get really upset when I am given items with no sugar. It's a detail that is always missed. I understand substituting for an item. Please I wish someone would pay better attention to this detail for shoppers who place mobile orders
I made an order and paid $5.00 for earlier delivery, 5 hours had passed when I received a message saying my order would arrive in less than 1 hour and 40 some minutes so I ended up canceling and went to Fry's to get what I needed.
