It was suggested that I try this as a seasoning on fish and chicken, since we have switched over to the Mediterranean diet due to gallbladder removal three months ago. WOW! It adds great flavor when sprinkled over a little olive oil. I use it mostly in the air fryer on all kinds of fish and shrimp, but last week, I baked chicken breasts and sprinkled it on top with a bit of onion powder and garlic powder. I tried it on steamed veggies at the same time. It is truly a pleasant change from bland cooking. Highly recommended.
BETTER THAN HIDDEN VALLEY! We like ranch and use it all the time becoming tired of paying super high prices with brand names. Tried making this and even put it in one of the big bottles of Hidden Valley ranch you get from Costco which works great As I can make a big batch. I didn't follow specific direction on container but know what im doing in the kithen and this stuff turned out amazing.
I am a very picky person when it comes to ranch, so I was leerie when I decided to try the great value. I started with the packet and loved it. then I saw they had a shaker bottle! It was half the price of the name brand and to be honest I think it has a better taste. a more creamy texture than the name brand. I would def recommend this product when looking for value, taste and price
Hummmm great value what are you doing because this tastes amazing but at a fraction of the price! I've used this so many ways now and it's something I always keep on stock!!!! I use it to make southwest greek yogurt ranch, I season my burger meat with it and add bacon to make bacon ranch infused burgers and they are always a hit!
I bought this so I could customize my own snack mix of pretzels and cheese it's. I put everything in a baggie and sprinkled it with this ranch mix. It makes everything more flavorful. The price is amazing compared to the name brand. I did notice the container is just over half full which is odd. I have no way of weighing it. Either way, for my purpose, it doesn't take a lot. I recommend.
I LOVE this product! I am finding I use it to season most all of my dishes. It's great in soups, sauces etc. I also sprinkle it on my veggie dishes and on meats. Chicken really perks up with a sprinkle wether baking or browning. And popcorn? Oh yeah!
I love the fact that I can't tell any difference from Hidden Valley brand and this Great Value brand. I'll sprinkle this on my taters and many more veggies/meat. I'll even make salad dressing from it! The chart on the back gives me the measurements to add in milk/mayo with the mix. Yummy!!
I was pleasantly surprised with this. Of course it's not as good as the OG name brand ranch mix, but it is a great cheaper alternative. A million times better than any bottled ranch. The seasoning doesn't have much oomph so I added 25% extra to the given recipe. I tried it with Duke's mayo and regular 2% milk but I bet it's even better with buttermilk. Be sure to let it sit and marinate a while so that the flavors can meld.

I followed the directions on the back actually I used a little less Then what it said, but that it didn't taste like ranch. It tasted more like a very salty tartar sauce, so we made the remade it again with more mayonnaise and milk and very little of the seasoning and it still tasted like tartar sauce, and very salty it's not ranch seasoning really doesn't even taste like ranch.
