In the off season I purchase all of my fruit in cans and I specifically get them all at Walmart. Reason being is great selection and unbeatable price. So I always save money by going to Walmart. In my opinion, if you're going to another store other than walmart, that's just plain silly and you're wasting your money.
i used 2 of theses cans 2 smalker cans of the fruit cocktail extra cherrys then put fresh strawberries and pineapples fresh into it omg so delicious took it to wirk both of us. had very delicious fruit salad for lunch.
Large size works well for making fruit salad for potlucks. I add the same size large can of mandarin oranges 10 oz mini marshmallows then add 8 oz of sour cream. Hardly ever have any left...
I like to purchase Great Value canned fruit cocktail for a number of reasons. One, in comparison to other brands of canned fruit cocktail it is less expensive. Two, canned fruit has the same nutritional value as fresh fruit. Three, you can easily store large quantities of canned fruit so that you have it on hand. You never know when there is going to be a winter storm and panic buying at your supermarket which results in empty shelves. All of the canned fruit that I purchased is Great Value canned fruit. For me, it represents value.
There is nothing to dislike about this fruit cocktail. All the fruits pictured on the can label are in this large can in sufficient portions. Juicy, tasty, just the right size pieces. I drained the heavy syrup juice out, don't need that. The fruit left in the can was just a half inch from the top. Now that is getting your money's worth. I added the fruit to Great Value gelatin, which tastes exactly like(Jello). This makes a nice desert just like Mom made back in the 1950's.
I use 1 can to fill 4 sm. contains %26 keep in the fridge. I save time %26 money, and it's delicious!
This product is awesome for snacks. One of the first things requested when grand kids visit. We keep this as a standard stock item in the pantry. Love the taste and freshness. Highly recommended.
I eat the fruit cocktail with cottage cheese and it is very good. One problem some people might have with it is that I find it is usually heavy on grapes. Some people would rather have less grapes and more of another fruit. The fruit cocktail is very good, and it makes a good treat instead of candy. I also like the fact that it is available in the larger can, which saves me money
The fruit was really good. Problem is that in this entire large can there was only half of one cherry. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.
One of the pits from the peaches was in the can of fruit cocktail. We buy this for a daycare and had to dig it out of the mix. It’s a good thing we saw that before serving it because it’s a choking hazard. There is also stems off some of the fruit.
