We are trying to limit artificial dyes in our household and this is a huge hit for our toddler. They absolutely despise drinking plain water and I can pop the top and toss a couple squirts into their cup and the will happily chug their drink and come begging for more.
I love that it's clear; it was my main reasoning for buying it the first time. I buy tea drops too, but hate the way it looks in a bottle of water, because it looks like something between pee and tobacco spit and I just can't get past it. I like to open a bottle of water, sip the top off and add a SMALL amount of flavor; premade beverages are so dramatically over-flavored and over-sweetened that I just can't. I like being able to control that. This is the apple one, and it is glorious! Beautiful taste and sweetness that's easily controlled by adding less. I have the watermelon one too, but for whatever reason, I can't taste that one, no matter how much I use. It's fine, because I like apple better anyway. Now I have my nice, flavorful water beverage without looking like I chew tobacco and am carrying around a spit bottle.
I order a double package of this product every couple of weeks electrolyte water enhancer liquid. Apple is my absolute favorite I'm diabetic and it's like I'm drinking apple juice. I drink two quart of electrolyte water every morning and this just makes my morning so much better. I love the taste of all the electrolyte water enhancers. Excellent quality excellent value worth your money and time
I can't use drink additives with colors because I work in food production and it's not allowed. I sneak these around in my pocket so i can put some in my drink bottles as needed. I know it's bad to use it, but i don't like plain water and end up getting dehydrated. lol! Anyway, these went away for a while and I've been dehydrated for a year lol!! I bought up 20 bottles of varying flavors. My only complaint is that sometimes the bottles leak when you squeeze them but they may have made changes since coming out again. also they now have bigger bottles available so that's great.
I use drink enhancer practically daily. Up until my last couple of orders I stuck with the traditional lemonade, orange, and on occasion cherry. Two orders ago I noticed the flavor “Green Apple””. It was probably there all along but this was the first time it caught my eye. I'm a huge fan of Granny Smith apples, so this seemed like it be the perfect choice for me. I ordered the product and tried it almost instantly when it arrived. I will say they may not have exactly matched the “Green Apple taste. What they did do was make a drink enhancer with a light refreshing taste with the ability to quench any thirst. The flavor (while not exactly what I expected) was excellent. So much so that I ordered another bottle and it arrived today. This drink enhancer has already moved into my top four favorites. Be adventurous, give it a shot. It might just become a new favorite for you too.
I have tried so many electrolyte powders and liquids, this one stands out above all of them. I have tried Nutra Cost green apple electrolytes and it's very good but nothing compares to Great Value green apple flavor enhancer with electrolytes added. No calories, no carbohydrates and the cost is phenomenal. Please try this if you're a green apple fanatic like I am you won't be sorry.
Way too salty for me. I tasted it and thought something was wrong with it because I immediately noticed the saltiness. The underlying green apple flavor seems like it would have been great. I should have looked at the ingredients before buying it because the third ingredient is salt. Yuck. I like it on the actual apples, just not in my water.
This water enhancer taste horrendous. I only gave it a try because it seems the Coconut Lime water enhancer has been discontinued (bad idea on Walmart's part to discontinue that flavor). There is no green apple taste. It taste like I'm drinking pure vitamins.
if you like granny smith apples that taste like they were cured in a salt block, then the salt block ground up and added to it, this what it would taste like. SO. MUCH. SALT. It is absolutely revolting. It would have been great if they just left the canister of salt out.
Something in the ingredients has changed recently. The last bottle I opened had gotten spilled a little and had a smell exactly like paint thinner! Definitely won't be purchasing this anymore which sucks because this was one of the better tasting ones.
