I now order most of my grocery items (including Mushroom Pieces) in your Great Value label. The same thing with items from pasta to refried beans. Not only do I appreciate the cost savings but I also appreciate the quality of the items that don’t have added ingredients that I don’t want. I am the only person who cooks meals in my kitchen and with the Great Value label items I know what I’m getting
These are great, as long as you’re using them the right way. I wouldn’t recommend them for sautéed mushrooms, salads, or anything where mushrooms are the star. They’re on the softer side, so they don’t have that fresh, firm texture. But for recipes? They’re perfect. I use them in spaghetti sauce, on pizza, and in other dishes where they’re mixed in, and they work exactly how you want them to. Good flavor, convenient, and no prep needed. If you know what you’re buying these for, they’re a great value.
i love mushrooms, these are extremely convenient when cooking, love them in my spaghetti sauces, my occasional omelet, or just about any dish that mushrooms can give it that perfect taste. awesome in my swedish meatballs, or for topping that perfect steak with sautéed mushys and onions, Yumm Yumm!!!!
this is my go-to for using mushrooms in cooking. When I run out of fresh mushrooms, I always use the great value product. Price is reasonable and taste is good
These are great. Walmart has done it again. Since they are in a can, they last longer. I use them in gravies and sauces. They taste great in scrambled eggs
These are handy for cooking when you need mushrooms in a sauce, casserole, or soup and do not feel like dealing with fresh ones. They are not fancy, but they are useful and easy to keep in the pantry. Solid basic ingredient.
Can mushrooms are always a little rubbery, it’s not this particular brand. They tasted good and there weren’t any bad mushrooms in the can. You definitely get a lot, the can was packed! I have bought them multiple times. I prefer frozen, but these are good for canned and a good value.
Let’s be honest — canned mushrooms are never going to beat fresh ones in taste or texture. But when you’re in a pinch, these Great Value mushrooms are a lifesaver. They compare really well to name-brand versions, and at a slightly lower price point, that’s a win in my book. With how expensive groceries have gotten lately, saving even a little helps. I’ve noticed the price of mushrooms creeping up across the board, so I’m glad I stocked up on these. They’re perfect for quick meals — toss them into a stir-fry, sauté with onions for a fast side dish, or add them to omelets, casseroles, pasta sauces, or even homemade pizza. They absorb flavor nicely and save you the prep time of cleaning and slicing fresh mushrooms. If you love having a well-stocked pantry, these are one of those “just in case” staples that come in handy more often than you’d think.
only reason I'm giving it a 3-star rating is cuz the cam seem to be relatively damaged it had black markings almost look like black mold but it probably was dragged or fell out of the box when they were stocking but the continents of the can aka the mushrooms were fine
I have used great value mushrooms for years the last two cans that I purchased when I opened them I could not eat them. The mushrooms were completely black not edible will not try to third time.
