I use both forks and spoons, mostly spoons. No washing dishes for me! I have all sizes of paper plates and bowls too. This gal is retired and taking it easy!!
As a 46 year old guy who hates doing dishes, but loves yogurt, cereal, various flavors of oatmeal, hot canned foods (ravioli etc.) and all kinds of lawsuit level burning soups... I am telling YOU! These are the best plastic spoons you can buy.
Made in the USA! Expensive, but sturdy,%26 strong product. Packaging could be stronger and sealed better. I have to go into the store to pick out a box that is not opened or bashed in, because curbside pickup never checks the condition of the boxes. Walmart is often out of stock of the 100 count boxes of this product.
They are stronger than any of the cheaper ones that are sold. They have a regular size length and not short like the cheaper ones. I don't like a plastic utensil that will break when I'm trying to eat.
I like that these are clear, and heavy duty! I buy these and the forks regularly. The price is a little high, but I'll spend this amount for a fork and spoon that doesn't drop the food or break while eating! I've even used these to stir food while cooking. I've never put these in a dishwasher, but I do sometimes hand wash and use again.
I strength tested these before using them, because I have had other brands break off when I was stirring something as simple as oatmeal. I bent the spoon and it took quite a bit of force for it to break. So far, I have only had one break when mixing something together and it broke off at the handle end, not the spoon end. This was when testing it in a very unlikely scenario. In general use, they would fantastic and price wise, there is no comparison. The one's on Amazon are a tad stronger, but they are also two dollars more on average. The price difference isn't worth it, since through normal use these will do just fine.
The plastic Everyday Clear Spoons are worth the price. They are firm and steady. The size is right with handles that are comfortable to hold. There are no sharp edges or rough spots. They are perfect for on the go, any gatherings, or for everyday use. I have bought them numerous times, and I would buy them again because they are valuable for the price.
The clear color looks more elegant than the white plastic cheap looking utensils. These are much stronger, too, so less concerned they'll snap apart. I still buy the cheap white plastic spoons for less stressful use, light to mix creamer in coffee or other lightweight tasks, but I use these when eating a meal. Bought these before, liked, and will buy again.
These are much sturdier than the white plastic utensils. Not that they can't/won't break. But not as easily. And they seem larger so they feel closer to the size of your standard silverware. Not fully but closer.
I've gotten multiple items from this product line, and they never disappoint. Stylish and well-made. Durable and strong. Even with ice cream. Worth the money. Would purchase again.
