I prefer just a hint of spice, and has a balance of spicy and sweet for me. I’ve been using it on egg rolls, and it adds just enough kick without being overwhelming. If you’re someone who loves intense heat, it may be too mild, but it’s a nice step up from the overly sweet options. The price is also very reasonable for the quality.

I'm not a great person for reviewing this item, as I don't use it in its raw form. I use it as the starting base to create a sauce for my Asian styled rice and XYZ dishes. For my purposes, it brings an awesome depth of flavor to my sauce with some decent heat and spiciness that doesn't overwhelm the dish. It may be a bit strong for seafoods like shrimp, as it can overpower their flavors if you are not careful. However, it help create sauces that are great with other meats, race and veggies or just rice alone. I try to keep one in my pantry for those times that I am just in the mood for a spicier Asian styled sauce.

I love this sauce. I fry my chicken and just smother it with this sauce . And it only cost a little over $2. I buy multiple bottles at hhc same time. My co workers and I have pot luck every 2/3 months and I use this sauce!! They always ask me what spice do you use ?? I say lots of different things 😁😜

This Great Value Thai Style Sweet Chili Sauce is a little bit sweet, a little bit spicy, and very sticky. It's got the consistency of honey, but it's a little thicker. It's got a great flavor, and "We put this stuff on everything!" Not really, but it's good on a whole lot of stuff. Egg rolls, Asian dumplings, fried stuffed jalapenos, etc. Anything you want to add a nice sweet kick to, this will do.

My personal experience with Great Value Thai Style Sweet Chili Sauce has been to use it over rotiserrie chicken and hot Thai rice noodles...I also add some cooked green %26 red bell peppers tio this for a quick and delicious meal...the Thai sweet chili sauce adds a zing to my presentation...I prefer to pour on a generous amount rather than just a hint or dab!

I’m pleasantly surprised that this Thai Chile Sauce is sooooo Good. I was looking for a replacement for one I previously used from another store, so finding this one has made me very happy. The price $2.22 is outrageously low, I was paying $4.00 for the other brand, same size, similar taste. Nice %26 thick, but easy to pour. I mix it with sour cream sometimes to make dip for low salt chips.

I would say the heat factor is middle of the road. It's not so hot that your nose would run, but it's hot enough to notice. I live in Minnesota, where hot spices are rarely used, so if this is you, go easy on it. I like it and use it in recipes such as orange marmalade meatballs with this sweet chili sauce. Just the right amount of kick. Too hot for my Wisconsin husband. More for me. The sweetness is spot on.

I'm generally not into dipping sauces for chicken nuggets or strips. That being said, I LOVE this sauce!!! In my book, it's perfect for just about anything. Including white rice, broccoli, or cauliflower. I really like drizzling it over stir-fried cabbage and carrot slivers. I highly recommend this sauce!! While I originally ordered it because it was a fraction of the price of the sauce I was planning to order, now I purchase it because it makes everything taste better. It's not overly sweet. Nor is it overly spicy. It's the perfect balance of the 2. I highly recommend it!!! (My star rating system: 4 stars met my expectations, 5 stars exceeded my expectations, 3 stars fell short of my expectations, 2 stars significantly fell short of my expectations, 1 star highly suggest not ordering)

This Great Value sweet chili sauce is soo good, better than the name brand I tried already, don't spend the extra money for the name brand, this stuff is wonderful, just the right amount of heat and sweetness, perfect for dipping egg rolls, or anything else.

This stuff is delicious, perfectly sweet with just enough heat, and makes everything from chicken to rice instantly better. That said…the texture. This stuff pours with the enthusiasm and consistency of snail slime. It stretches. It clings. It will make a yard-long string from the bottle to your plate. You will absolutely get it on the counter, the bottle, and somehow your hand, even though you were being careful. For me, I definitely need to mix it in with food (not just on top) or other sauces to be able to deal with the texture. I'll still buy it again, though!
