im using the gelatine to clean my. i use one box of gelatine with warm water (hot enough to dissolve the gelatine) then i pour it in the oil from my deep fat fryer. stir put it in the frig overnight. the jello will harden trapping all the gunk that was on the bottom. pour the oil in a clean container and its ready and clean for a few more time

This gelatin powder works well for making jello and gummies, as well as other custard like and creamy concoctions. It dissolves easily in hot water and is very easy to use. Sometimes, it has a strong odor that leaves as soon as it is mixed with other ingredients. It has tasteless flavor, so it will not change other flavors of other ingredients. I consider it good value for the money. It tends to be thicker and sturdier than other gelatins, so gummies always come out all right. The great value of this product is its health benefits. It is a great thickener and a better alternative than using cornstarch.

I like using the Great Value Brands of products. Most of the time they taste a lot better than the rest. I use this to make my ginger, lime %26 honey bites for a healthier dose of energy.

I never used unflavored gelatin for anything before, so I can't do much of a comparison. All I know is I needed it for a recipe and it worked just fine. I have zero complaints and would buy it again.

I got this to make homemade suet cakes for my birds. It should come with 6 packets but it only has 4 per box. It is easy to make and there is no flavor to it at all. My birds didn't take to the ones I made using this product so I'll just stick to making the cakes without the gelatin. I'm sure there are many other things that this can be used for just perfectly.

This gelatin and does not firm up at all. I've made this particular Bavarian cream recipe numerous times. I usually use another well-known brand and decided to save a few pennies. big mistake. I ended up wasting lots of sugar, a dozen and a half eggs, vanilla, milk and my time and patience. Don't be like me, listen to the reviews! This inferior product should be taken off the market!

I am not sure this will get to the right people but here goes: This item that I purchased yesterday only had three (3) pouches in the box. I would think if packaging has changed, they would have shown on the box as 3. It is labeled 4 and I need four.

I was trying to save money buying this gelatin option from Great Value and everything is wrong with the product. The smell is horrible, like a very strong cow poop and barn smell, It never got firm, not even a little. My tumeric cubes are liquid. Never again, I usually love Great Value stuff but this one was an error. I had to throw away the whole mixture, ginger, tumeric, honey, cayenne. Very upset.
