I bought this cookie icing in white so I could dye it to any color we wanted, and it worked perfectly. My daughter and I had so much fun mixing colors and decorating our cookies together. The frosting tasted really good... not too sweet... and was super smooth, which made it easy for her little hands to spread and pipe without any frustration. Once the icing sets, it doesn't stay soft, but it also doesn't harden like candy. It's just the right texture for decorating, so our designs stayed looking beautiful but were still easy to eat. It made decorating cookies for Santa feel extra special this year, and we even used it for homemade cookie gifts. Seeing my daughter's excitement while adding the finishing touches to each cookie made it feel like a true holiday tradition. This icing really helped make our Christmas cozy and fun. This icing is a fantastic alternative to making it from scratch—super quick and easy for decorating. My only complaint is that it's a little difficult to squeeze out of the container, but the convenience makes it worth it.

We love the GV brand cookie icing! However today's 5 star review has to do the the customer service/shipping. The bulk of my order was for same day instore pickup, which we lover. 3 of the 12 items I ordered would ship to me since they were not available in store. No problem at all. BUT I quickly received an email stating the 3 items were located in the store and I would able to pick up along with with the other 9 items. PERFECT.....BUT the entire order was delivered to me via Door Dash! I had no idea! Thank you Walmart!

This took zero effort to use. just open and cut tip with scissors to be large or small to your liking. dried after about an hour and I could stack my gingerbread man cookies easily. Will be buying more colors!! Icing pictured is the white color only. The color icing is another type

For a store brand, this is even better than the name brands and I originally bought it at Christmas because I couldn't get the color I wanted in a name brand. The texture and taste are perfect for the sugar cookies I make. The price is way better than any competitor. I now ONLY buy Great Value Brand for my cookies!

This cookie icing is Royal Icing... it was easy for kids CHRISTMAS Cookies and looked great. we had several colors. My teenage grandkids loved it

would not put a full circle of icing. Or would at least use a thin layer. It is super sweet. But worked out for my shortbread cookies. I just put a zigzag pattern and left some gaps so the sweetness did not over power the cookie.
