Not just for arts and crafts
I actually buy these for various purposes, like table cloths for smaller surfaces, to pad/protect items in backpacks, quick picnic cloths, etc. The material is surprisingly sturdy enough to stand up to general-use tasks, and is machine washable if you're employing it for frequent outdoor use.
