We bought this piece of wood to make a small wood burned sign for our wedding. It was perfect and exactly what we needed! The live edge gives a nice effect, and it was easy to do intricate wood burned and carved designs on after sanding the surface.

Deceptive and terrible item
According to the listing "Natural Material: Made from 6" x 9" basswood with natural bark." Completely deceptive. This is not wood. I purchased, specifically, Bass wood for hand carving. This is MDF with a paper thin plywood glued to it and a real bark glued to the sides, but it is not wood. Complete trash and useless for me.

not at all as one would expect.
the piece I got was ground chip board in the middle with thin layers of veiner on both the front and back sides. bark was glued to the sides. Not impressed at all. I wanted it to do a project that would require using water on it but with it being pressed board in the middle, it will just crumble if I add the water to it so now I can't use it for it's intended purpose after all.

The sticker is placed directly on the wood! And the other side of the wood has a screw hole in it from the hanger
