The description states that you can sharpen this product. You cannot sharpen it, you cannot retract it, which means when you get to the end....you will need to order another one. Waste of money.

While this color may be very nice. This feels worse than melted/softened butter. Meaning, the moment you put it on your eyelid it is so soft, it doesn't stay in place. If you make the slightest little error lining your eye with it, it's extremely noticeable since the formula for this eyeliner makes it so soft, like butter, that once you press super soft butter, it spreads very easily. It's just not a good eye liner. And if you wear this eyeliner in hot humid weather like we've been having lately, good luck trying to keep it on your eyelids because it'll wear off very quickly. This item is not a good purchase. I bought Cover Girl charcoal gray eyeliner last time, it was good, no issues there. The only reason I switched to Hard Candy is because the gray eyeliner looked like a very interesting gray color (like a slate gray color with a hint of navy blue in it), and I liked that shade of it. But when I was wearing the Cover Girl charcoal gray eyeliner, not once did I ever have these issues, including on hot humid days. I'll stick with Cover Girl now.

Not able to sharpen, got a week's use of it and not no point and can't be sharpened. A waste of money.

I wanted to love this, however, it doesn't sharpen easy at all making it not safe to use in the waterline like I had wanted to. Also the 12HR wear is not to be confused with waterproof or smudge proof. The color is pretty and would be awesome if it sharpened better.

For a gel liner, I was expecting a waterline eyeliner. But this is not what happened. This was messy while applying on eyes, and did not stick to the waterline at all.

I had high hopes for this %26 was so excited to try it because I love red %26 burgundy eyeliners. This one doesn't go on smoothly at all. It skips and I had to press hard %26 go over the line so many times just to be able to see anything. Even then, the color barely showed up and the line was very rough %26 not smooth at all with more color in some places and barely any in others. Also I don't know if I'm supposed to sharpen it or what? It doesn't seem to twist up but the pencil feels plastic %26 not like wood so I don't know what to do to get more product out? This was a disappointing purchase for me.
