HATCH Diced Tomatoes %26 Green Chilis is a fantastic product. I love HATCH chilis. Never knew that HATCH had this product out there and when I saw it I had to get it. It was fantastic that you could buy it as a multi can for a price product. I tried it to compare with Rotel tomatoes %26 green chilis because I love Rotel. I compared both cans and HATCH uses juice in the can and Rotel uses water. I think that's a plus. I tried it making the Veleeta Queso Dip using this product and it worked very well. Had a good taste. Both products HATCH %26 Rotel are great products but they can be interchangeable in recipes. So use HATCH without fear but also use Rotel. I love them both.
These are really good and I love Hatch chilies, just know that they're not as spicy as regular Ro-Tel tomatoes so you may want to add some diced jalapeños for some extra kick. They say “medium” but if classify them more toward mild.
Way better than Rotel. Tastes fresh.... I've been purchasing this for years! You can't go wrong here!
I love hatch chiles so I was thrilled to find these at Walmart in AR. They are better than rotel brand!
I love these tomatoes with green chilies! I always keep a few cans on hand, as they are always tasty and add a little kick to whatever I'm cooking. Would definitely recommend these, they are a great value and less expensive that the other brands!
If you usually buy the other major brand - that we've all used for years - you can save a little money and not miss a thing with the Hatch brand. Actually better if you love Hatch Chiles, like I do. Give it a try.
First time trying and I liked everything about it.
This product is far better than the popular brand I have used since the 70's! I am hooked for sure.
These are so good! I usually get the Great Value brand but they were out so I chose these and now this is what I'll be buying.
Saw this and wanted to support the Hatch chile growers in New Mexico, so I bought it instead of Rotel. The can is 99 percent tomatoes and fluid. Emptied out the entire can and found approximately 20 bits of minced green chile, barely enough to convey a green chile taste. I will not buy this brand again.
