These are real safety pins and not the cheap, non-fastening Dollar store brand. This explains the higher cost. Well, since I want to hold things together with real safety pins, this will have to be my go-to brand. I also like the size variety. My emergencies tend to vary in size! :-)

Absolutely no complaints about this set of safety pins. You get a good variety of sizes in a sturdy storage box that stays securely closed, but is also easy to open. The pins themselves are strong and hold their shape. I got this set to replace another set that I ordered from a large online store. Those pins bent so easily they were unusable. These are great quality.

I like this because it comes in a little container for it's all separated with a small ones from the larger ones , very easy to find and use. highly recommend

The pins seem to be sturdy and of good quality. The different sizes are useful. i like the compartments for the different sizes in the container-makes it easy and quick to pick out a pin. Good price as well.

The safety pins I had on hand turned out to be weak and bendy, they were useless. A friend recommended these and they were great. They did not bend under a bit of stress. I also liked the handy case and the fact that the sizes were sorted.

This was a good purchase because I could separate the pins Into separate sizes and the other options did not offer that.

steel makes the pins sturdy but should have a pinch more steel to be stronger for holding more tension off bigger items
