I use them on the trash and recycle bins and they work great. Rubber protected metal hooks are much better than plastic so you can pinch the hook if ya need to.

Secure bungee cords b u n g e e
These bungee cords/tye down straps are my favorite. The rubber hooks keeps from scaring anything that you are tying down, plus if you're tying down in your pickup they dont scratch the paint. Very durable, handy.

i used these to keep the lid on my dog food bin. one of my dogs had gotten into it and ended up at the vet , so these are working well.
