This twine arrived very quickly and was an excellent price. I wanted to use it to tie up some of my vines outside, and it worked well. I also used it to repair my cats scratcher. It also worked well in that capacity. I would recommend this twine if you'd in need of some.
I use this in my gardens. Sometimes the twine gets a little thinner then thicker, but it doesn't really matter for tying plants up! It is a great value and is excellent for what I use it for, while being very tough and sturdy. It also is natural without color and biodegradable. The birds love to grab any of it left behind after the winter and use it for their nests. I like this much better than the nylon cords that don't break down and are hard to tie and or knot.
We use this all the time in our garden and it holds up very well. We have tried other brands from other big box stores but they don't make it thru the weather and they are more expensive for each roll. Making this a twin pack was genius.
I wanted a medium weight strong twine to hang several things outside. This was perfect. Everything survived the heavy rain %26 high winds yesterday. I am very pleased
We're using this product for stringing up pole beans. It holds a lot of weight and cleans up easily at the end of the season. We've found this product to be better than butcher's twine.
I've tried them all, but this is THE best twine, combining strength and value. It's a nice big roll that lasts. It's tough enough for you to tighten it before tying, without it falling apart, as other twines do. I use it for putting branch bundles out to the curb.
This twine was purchased after learning that it could be separated and used as excelsior for crafting. I cut a length, separated the strand, and it gave me the embellishment I was looking for.
Cons: The twine was not consistent in thickness. Length extended quite a bit when exposed to rain. Pros: Good amount of length per roll. Strong enough for tomato plant support. Good value for the price.
This one is very versatile. In some cases, I have found that I can reuse it in my garden, where it has been in use binding together steaks to hold up tomatoes, a second year. It’s extremely strong and very durable and all kinds of climate. The price could be better though…
This is my first time working with sisal twine. I just finished crocheting a small basket with handles. I appreciate the strength, however, the thickness was inconsistent, so the basket has a ‘thin’ spot at the bottom and one handle appears thinner. I subtracted one star for this. I will try knitting a basket next to see if this approach offers a better way to hide the varying thickness. I haven’t decided whether I will buy this brand again, but I am still interested in sisal twine in general.
