(2 pack) Iberia Long Grain Brown Rice 5 lb

I cooked this in a pressure for 15 minutes to the second, and cooled off the pressure cooker right away, Threw it in the colander and drained a little remaining water, and the rice was fluffy and moist. Lasted two days and microwaved it, it was just like the first day. I used 8 cups water to 2 cups rice, a half teaspoon of oil so it wouldn't foam. It just came out great, not mushy, every grain was singular. The flavor was fantastic even without salt. The texture was chewy but tender. It shrinks, it is small grains after cooking.

BROWN RICE, IN A BAG. Put these little delicious morsels in your Instant Pot, hit the stinking "RICE" button, after you add water, obviously. Let these little things cook, get them out, eat them, give some to your dogs, be happy, be full. BUY. MORE. RICE. Says it's grown in America. 'MURICA BEST RICE!

The flavor is good. Every Brown rice (unless parboiled in package) takes a little longer to cook than white, and in a rice cooker, you may find you want to leave a little more room at the top of the cooker (i.e., not fill the pot so full). I recommend a non-stick rice cooker for easiest Prep and clean up. Partial-cook if you want for use in a stir-fry. (Olive oil works great.)

I hate to leave a bad review but I left this in the pantry with other bags and it sat there until 4 months later and I found the bag seemed to have mold or something white in it, it's hard as a rock. The other brands II bought at the same time are fine, just this one. Now when I buy brown rice I plan on freezing it first and keeping a good eye on it. My guess is that in had a high level of moisture in it, but I don't really know what that white stuff is.

I got this because it was on sale and the cheapest around. When I got home and finally used it, I realized why. There were weevils growing in it. Had to figure out how to deal with that. I froze the bad fo a week, then vacuum seal, and that seemed to make sure the weevils were done with their lives, but the smell lingered. Rinsing about 10x seemed to help with the smell, and after cooking, it seems to be perfectly ok, with no signs of how we got there. Overall, not a bad product, but gonna be skipping this brand.

Noticed a lot of impurities in the rice. During pre rinse prior to cooking a lot of impurities floated on the surface and after it was cooked a lot of black %26 gray looking stuff that looks like rejected rice was seen. I have to order another brand and dump the rest of this “IBERIA “ arroz integral brown rice for fear that it might be a contaminated %26 reject product being sold cheaply for easy disposal.

I'm old and have cooked a lot of rice. Never seen any this filthy. Dirt and many insects. I'll certainly never buy this brand again!

This rice had live bugs in it. Walmart did refund my money.

received today, started to make brown rice, noticed lots of floating, tiny brown flecks. first thought its just the husk or chaff, then noticed its moving. it has a lot of weevils inside (rice bugs). then inspected the rest of the rice, stored in hard plastic airtight container. already tossed the infested bag and prodcut tossing is next. i want a refund. but not going to bother standing in line with a box of infested rice for what it's worth to purchase. this seems like real old stock or poor storage practices at the manufacturing/warehouse location. no thank you

The rice grain didn't cook through. It didn't get soft.......i would not recommend this rice to anyone.
