The Iberia oval can of sardines generally contain three large pieces of fish, which are more meaty than the smaller sardines found in the same size oval Crown Prince containers orthe 3.5 oz containers of various brands. .
These sardines are really good! The tomato sauce has a nice flavor and the fish is soft but holds its shape. Perfect for a quick meal or snack. I always like having a few cans at home. Highly recommend!
It was good. I just didn't understand the three Tunas inside. I mean, they are good size but, feel like robbery to ‘me.
the Sardines taste bitter and very sour.. I always think when i eat them... how can you make so bad tasting food... it's scary
the label says sardines. when opened i saw large pieces.. looked at ingrediece and it says herring. the taste was o k but i did not get what i wanted.
I bought multiple cans of these sardines and had them shipped because local Walmarts don't stock this style. One of the internal cans was damaged on the bottom and its top is domed so doesn't appear to have held vacuum. The shipping box is undamaged and since this can wasn't on the outside next to a box side, it looks like a badly damaged can was packed and not damaged in transit. Kinda disappointing Walmart
Not for sale in California...I feel like wild caught fish is better...add your own tomato flavoring...something does not meet safety standards for California food consumption...I hope Iberia will improve this product because the packaging is appealing also...the wording is found next to nutrition facts
This is one of the products that I always have in my pantry. It brings back lots of memories from my childhood. The most recent purchase was Beyond disappointing! There was one small piece of sardine inside a sea of tomato sauce. The sauce was salty %26 somehow had no flavor at all. Since I purchased more than one, I will donate the rest (even though it's unfortunate that I'm giving away substandard food).
These sardines are awful. The price was very attractive so I had bought 6 sets of two cans. but instead of sardines, as in tiny fish, most cans so far have two big cuts of a fish. much larger than a sardine. They taste nasty, so I've been feeding them to my barn cats. At least the cats eat them. Look at the attached photos and see for yourself.
-Awful taste. -Very fishy taste and aftertaste despite this product coming as seasoned in tomato sauce. Additionally, onion, tomato, and cilantro were added.
