Bought this Rival to replace an old one that broke. Worked perfectly and made great ice cream. Only disappointment is they no longer include a cork to plug the little hole when you take the dasher out. (directions said cover with plastic wrap!) Fortunately our old cork fit the new hole. So never lose the corks!

First off, this machine is fantastic! I'll go through a few reasons why, but I'll start with what makes it different, and then I'll dive into how it makes ice cream. Based off everything I've read online, the ninja creamy is very difficult to clean. however this machine has a stainless steel rod that can be removed and makes cleaning simple. It removes from the center easily, but then can be placed into warm water and used with a sponge to clean. You can put it on the upper part of the dishwasher, and it's dishwasher safe. I'm incredibly happy with the fact that this is so easy. the other parts for cleaning, are simple as it's really just the points, those are plastic, and they do have handles it also comes with three where many of the Ninja when they come with two. Noise is another reason this is better than the ninja creamy as it certainly has a lower decibel count than the ninja. You don't need ear plugs or to walk away as the machine is much quieter than a blender. Don't get me wrong, it does make some noise, but you can still have a conversation with someone. Talking about the ice cream, there are several different recipes that come in the book, I would highly recommend keep the book as I have tried a few of the recipes and plan on continuing to try additional sorbets, gelato, light ice cream, ice cream, Fitness or protein versions that they have. The ones I've tried are fantastic and I've enjoyed them! There are also thousands of videos on YouTube of people who have made ice cream, and it's very easy to search and try their recipes. Any recipes that work on the ninja creamy will work in this ice cream maker. Pricing, at the time of purchasing this, I paid about $150, this was well below the price of the Ninja creamy. For the ninja creamy deluxe, which this is more comparable to, you'll receive three pint compared to most ninja machines that come with two. The machine can also be stored in a high or low setting, that's certainly makes it easy for cabinet space and it does fit under my cabinets on my countertop in a high or low position. in general, I will keep it in the smaller position in a cabinet and not on my countertop. I am happily surprised by how much I'm enjoying this ice cream machine. Certainly, I can make more traditional ice creams and custards, but I'm using it more for low calorie or healthy treats. Most of the recipes I make use some type of Greek yogurt as a base, and then I mix in several different ingredients for whatever flavor I'm trying to achieve. I also did this with my girlfriend, and the two of us had a great time making pints one night and getting to try them the next as the points do need to be placed in a freezer for 24 hours for you can make ice cream the following day. It's an excellent machine and I do recommend it and I think it's a better machine with a better place than the ninja creamy.

It broke on the first use, it is a bad product.

The first plastic that holds the ice cream cracked to the point had to throw away. We hand wash these, no dishwasher. No biggie we have two other holders. We used the machine no more than eight times and then the second one started to crack. You also have to prep everything then wait 24hrs so over it.

So excited to receive the product and everything that came with it, unfortunately it did not work. I reached out to customer service, but I did not hear back from them. A card was included in the packaging stating they would get back up with me within 24 hours but nothing.

I'm highly disappointed I have used this twice and the cup is now stuck. I cannot get anybody on the phone. If you have an issue, you can mail them a letter apparently but I'd much rather go on TikTok and make sure that everybody knows this is more like a scam. You think you're buying a ninja creamy but instead this shows up and now it hasn't even been two months and I'm out all kinds of money.
