With this past winter temperatures, my husband absolutely made sure to order this HEET for our vehicles. We have spent plenty of time in the long-ago past, trying to blow dry gas lines or wrapping them in towels and tape to try to thaw them. A mechanic recommended this HEET to keep our lines clear and as a bonus, it helps keep the fuel injectors clean. We've used it for years now, when the temps warrant it. We've never had a frozen fuel line since.
This stuff saved my cars life! i had gotten watered down fuel at a gas station and this stuff prevented any further damange to my vehicle. just put the amount the directions say and then drive it as normal to make sure it mixes well with your fuel. after a few days of driving the car is back to sounding normal and running properly. definatley have this stuff on hand because you will never know if you eve need it.
This stuff saved my bacon on a road trip. Got a bad tank of gas, and check engine light came on out in the middle of nowhere desert. Luckily I made it to the tiny town I was headed for, suspected bad gas, so got this and added to gas, and let it sit overnight. While driving around the next day looking for someone to help me figure out why my check engine light is on, my check engine light went off after 4 stops/starts. YAY! That was last February, and it hasn't come back on. So if you suspect bad gas, get this!!
This definitely works. I got my sisters car after she passed away and the car didn't have a gas cap. We had a storm come through and the door of the tank ended up opening. I had just replaced the fuel pump last year and I thought for sure I messed it up again. I started the car a few days later just for it to cut back off. I asked around to a few people I know who works on cars and one of them told me about this. I really didn't think it would help. I poured it in the tank and later that day the car started back up. May not be the same story for everyone but it definitely worked for me.
I filed up my SUV one morning on the way to work. Everything was fine until I headed home that evening and noticed the hesitation and sputter at interstate speed. Sure enough the check engine light came on and I suspected it was water in the gas. Did a little research and found that water is heavier than gas and if you park for a while it will settle to the bottom of the tank. This explains why the sputter happened later rather than sooner. ISO HEET was the %231 recommended cure. I tried it and sure enough the sputtering stopped and after several miles the check engine light went off. Very inexpensive fix. Nice! Probably wouldn't work with a ton of water in the fuel. But if you just filled up and the sputtering starts, this would be the very first thing I'd try…
it works not only to clean the filters in the tank but the inline filters as well plus I get better gas mileage adding this before every fuel up it's just my opinion
I have used this product for years as my late husband recommended since we first started dating in 1986. It worked fine in harsh NY winters and in the climate of NC.
used for engine line with water and seemed to relieve the situation. So, it worked for me in a Honda van. Drove around for about 5 minutes just to distribute it and the next day is when i could tell it worked.
I do think this worked well...I tend to prefer a different brand with the high mileage on my vehicle but this was quick to solve the problem and would buy again if my preferred brand is unavailable
I purchased the Iso-HEET hoping it would clean a suspected issue with dirty or clogged fuel injectors, which was causing rough idling in my engine. I used the entire bottle as directed and noticed absolutely no difference in performance. This product did not work at all to resolve my rough running or idling issue. Highly disappointed.
