After draining liquid away from hominy, I dry the hominy kernels on top of paper towels. I lightly fry two bacon strips to brown and then cook hominy on medium high heat and in less than 5 minutes I have a delicious side of hominy for four servings with eggs for breakfast.

Most associate Juanita's Hominy for use in soups- but Juanita's Hominy has So Many More Uses! I have sauteed Juanita's Hominy as a side dish, added Juanita's Hominy to Taco Salads, Chile Verde, Picadillo, Chiles Relleno, Casseroles... I can go on. Juanita's Hominy has an excellent texture and absorbency, addeding extra flavor with every bite- Sabroso. I keep my pantry stocked with Juanita's Hominy- such a great, reliable source of nutrition.
