Ken's Steakhouse Chunky Blue Cheese Salad Dressing has never been equaled when it comes to grocery store products. Best flavor and feel on the market, in my opinion. I've been enjoying Ken's Steakhouse Salad Dressings for 40 years now. The only better bleu cheese salad dressing is homemade which requires the knack and knowledge to make right. Can't go wrong with Ken's Steak House!
Blue cheese is the favorite dressing flavor in our home, and we go through a LOT of it. Ken's Blue Cheese is by far the best bottled we have found. It is only a little more expensive that the store brands, but well worth the pennies per serving more that you will pay. It is rich and creamy without being too sour, with big chunks of cheese throughout. We are never without a backup bottle or two.
Finally, a blue cheese dressing that isn't oily or overly processed. Ken's Chunky Blue Cheese is loaded with big pieces of aged cheese and has a bold, rich flavor. It's thick enough to be a high-end dip for wings and veggies, but still pours beautifully over a salad. A staple in my fridge from now on!
Tasty, flavorful, and easy to use on salads, meats, and as a substitute for mayonnaise on breads and buns for sandwiches and hot dogs. For more pizazz, add crumbled bleu cheese chunks, keep overnight in the refrigerator, and put on eggs, meats, and salads... A real winner that fails to be time-consuming.
Bleu cheese dressing is my favorite and Ken's is by far the best bleu cheese dressing there is. I have tried other name brands when I've had to, but I have yet to find a brand that even comes close to Ken's. Ken's has the perfect tangy taste and consistency with a lot of bleu cheese chunks. It is the best to compliment any wings, salad, dip, and even pizza! Delicious high end restaurant quality!
One of my favorite dressing. It tastes really good and doesn't feel too heavy, just right. Haven't tried marinating with it. I do wish they will not use soy bean oil and switch to more healthier oil like avocado oil and it'll be even better. Check the back for ingredients. I for one is willing to pay a bit more if they do that.
I was tired of paying the exorbitant price for my usual brand, which is refrigerated, and I wasn't really in the mood to make my own homemade, which I often do, so I took a chance on this. I have to say that it is surprisingly tasty as I wasn't expecting that for the cost. it really is very very good but it is not chunky. if you are looking for the traditional chunkiness of blue cheese this is not it. I have a tendency to add milk to mine to water it way down because I really don't like the thick goopy stuff but I DO like the chunks of blue cheese and I miss them out of this. They are there but they aren't as prevalent as they are with the refrigerated brands or with homemade. I would definitely give the salad dressing an 8 out of 10. It really is that good especially for the price.
The Taste profile is more like Roquefort which has a sharper taste than a blue cheese-labeled product. This makes the product taste extremely strong overpowering a delicate Romaine leaf. No noticeable chunks. Ken's is my go-to salad dressing choice, so it's fine but I most likely will not purchase again.
Chunky blue cheese says to me blue cheese crumbles. I have yet to find any blue cheese crumbles after shaking and standing bottle upside down. It also doesn't have the tart blue cheese taste I'm looking for. I would call it a mild , creamy, thick blue cheese dressing but not chunky. Not enough blue cheese sharpness for me.
Tried new bleu cheese dressing Kens brand for the first time when my Litehouse was unavailable I made a large fresh spinach salad with grilled chicken, fresh red onion %26 provolone cheese. I opened as a new bottle %26 added to the usually delicious salad %26 immediately notice a very strange sour, not creamy, plastic flavor. It ruined my salad. i couldn't finish it. read the ingredients to see why. "Less than 2% natural flavors". Many gave it great reviews, which goes to show how conditioned large companies can shape our taste buds. Anyone who has had homemade bleu cheese dressing can tell this tastes nothing like it should.
