Two working remotes for a price you can't beat.
Remotes needed to be programmed with a automotive key programmer. But both are currently functioning. Had to replace the battery on one after few days. But I have a flip key remote combination which is not offered by the dealership. Vehicle is a 2007 Saturn Vue.

Cool concept, not functional
The idea seems like a good one, and I was looking forward to replacing my key remote with this flipkey. Unfortunately, I will have to go back to the tried and true key remote that I had previously. The flip key interfered with the operation of the gear shift lever, so that when the key is open and in the ignition, the gear lever is obstructed by it, and can only be moved folding the key and then moving lever. The same proccess would have to be taken to shift out of gear as well. Sadly, I was unable to check this before cutting the key, as the key blank is a bit to tall to fit into the ignition uncut.
