This class is not in the least bit spicy. I really like House of Tsang Szechuan sauce, which is actually spicy. However, my husband doesn't care for it. The sauce is a good compromise for us because it isn't cloyingly sweet like a lot of stirfry sauces it went really well with Walmart frozen sugar snap veggie blend. I stirred up some beef with a little of this sauce and some garlic, then put it aside, cooked the veggies in the wok for eight minutes, then tossed everything together. It was pretty tasty. Next time, I will add a dash of oyster sauce. thank you to the reviewer who noted that the sauce is not super sweet the way a lot of them are. It encouraged me to take a chance on it.
One question asked if it's spicy, spicy to mean means hot. no , it's not hot , but it is flavorful I used this for stir fry. you can all use it in your hamburger , meat to just change the flavor a bit. especially like that , this has less preservatives to none
This is a general purpose sauce for Asian themed dishes. As a dip, a mild marinade, in stir frys, even as a seasoning for peanut sauce. This is great mixed with the dried peanut powder and water, makes it Thai style for noodles. It is a bit pricey per ounce for a Walmart offering. Walmart has its own brand of Asian sauces if you want to spend less. Glass bottles keep well but are not recyclable in many regions. At least recycle the steel cap.
This sauce is exactly the what I was searching for flavor wise. It was so good I ate 15 mini pork dumplings in one serving. Very tasty. It would be great with chicken and beef.
I ordered a bottle of this sauce and liked it so much that I'm now ordering the two pack. It has a unique taste - not sweet at all. I'm also addicted to the Panda Express Mandarin Sauce - which is sweet and thick. Between the two sauces, I'm very happy making chicken, rice and veggies a few times a week. You'll be delightfully surprised with this Kikkoman Stir Fry Sauce.
I can't always find this particular one at all the WalMart's. However, if you can find the "Perseverative free" it has a LOT less sodium in it. I'm very sensitive to sodium in a "bad" way, so if I can't find this one at the WalMart I'm at, I have to look elsewhere. Price is also better than at other stores. But, if other stores have the Preservative FREE version, I will pay more at that store and NOT buy the higher sodium version at WalMart.
Hard to find - always out of stock these days. I am a stir-fry vegetables fans with a wok. Easy to used and very favorable.
This sauce has an amazing taste! I use this all the time when i make shrimp stirfry. My family always raves about it!
It's too sweet. They changed the formula. It used to be really tasty and tangy. Now it is just too sweet. So I still use it because it is the best I can find in Walmart, but as soon as I find something less sweet and has same texture I'll leave it behind. Change it back!
This was not the item that i ordered. My sauce was with a light green seal. I got a sauce i never tried before and i got 2 of them. The sauce i ordered was a 2 pk. I am so disappointed with this order and service that i received.
