We rescued a small kitten and set him up in a bathroom. I was advised not to use clumping litter as kittens are curious and could munch on it and get it stuck in their airway. This non-clumping litter is absolutely perfect! We found it at Walmart and got a plastic storage tub that we lined with a plastic bag for ease of tying it up and throwing it out when needed. Easy to scoop and covered up smells very well. Great value for the money! Kitten is happy!
Ok let me explain why you should use this cheap stuff. 1. Dust level is low seriously barely notice if any. 2. The price even if you added the total price per pound to the stuff you’re probably using now trust me this ends up cheaper. 3. The size you get 7lbs you can lift each bag one at a time instead of 50 lbs all at once…. and the best reason why 4. So now that your saving all that money buy cat litter liners and you use one full bag each week you pull the whole thing out right into the trash and you just dump one full bag right back in NO MORE SIFTING AT ALL. And if you do use a liner you have just made changing cat litter so easy besides no more sifting it never stinks cuz your dumping everything at once it is in its own bag inside the trash (doubled bagged) and you just lift the pill strings out put new liner in dump a full bag into the box and done. So while 4 is no more sifting you can add 5. No more smell, 6. Easier now. 7. Double bagged . So I’m dead serious once a month you buy 4 bags and every few months you buy heavy duty liners I use Johny Cat and all you gotta do in put liner in dump a full bag and once a week you just lift everything out at once and repeat. No more mess no more sifting no more stink this is the best stuff and none of the smelly perfume smelling like lavender cat urine. So stupid. YOURE WELCOME!
This is my go to cat litter. Yes it is very dusty. I have one cat. I got through about half a bag a week. A bag normally lasts me two rounds. About two weeks. The little doesn’t block any scents. Luckily my cats not to stinky. There are plenty of litters that give off a fresh scent. I personally don’t get those because one they are way over priced. Who wants to spend alot of money on litter? Two i fear that my cat might reject the scented litter.
I was looking for a kitty litter that wasn't so pricey and came across this brand. It is easy to keep clean and scoop out. It's scent free, so there is no smell.
I like that this product is very cheap and the best alternative to other litters. Of course, it is not a clumping litter but it is o.k. The litter box just has to be cleaned out more often. It seems to cover the smell to a certain degree. There is no dust which is very good. It is fragrance-free which is a huge plus. My cat and I we don't like artificial fragrances. The litter is easy to use, not heavy at all. For low income people it is a very good choice. Such a cheap product cannot be bought in any of the pet stores at all and that's why I like Walmart. Walmart cares about low income people and makes sure that they can afford having a pet.
I bought this as a replacement for another brand of litter that has been sending me mostly dust this year. There has been a coating of dust all over everything, and it got in the cat's fur. This is a big improvement, and the bags are small and easy for me to handle.
Das Kitty enjoys going in this litter, and I enjoy how cheap it is. Is it dusty? Yep, but I own a broom and know how to use it. I also have allergies and am even allergic to cats, but I also have the ability to buy and use allergy medicine. Judgy, judgy, I know, lol, but it is what it is.
If you want your house to feel like a sandstorm hit a cat playground, go ahead and buy Kitty Diggins. My roommate tried it once and I’m still finding dusty little granules in places I didn’t even know existed. It’s like the litter bag comes with a built-in mission to coat every surface in a fine layer of despair. Clumping? Ha. More like clump-ish, maybe-sorta-if-you’re-lucky. Odor control? Only if your nose is made of steel. Scooping it is basically a full-contact sport, and by the time you’re done, you’re considering moving out and leaving the cat behind. Honestly, Kitty Diggins is less “cat litter” and more “existential hazard in granular form.” Save yourself the trauma. Spend the extra $5 and keep your lungs, floors, and sanity intact.
Yes, it looks like a good value when compared to other litters, but beware. I've given this brand a few tries and each time I ended up with a flea issue. Stay away!
My cat use this litter got really sick from it Start not wanting to use the litter box anymore start peeing all over the house found out later. It gave her a liver infection. She is no longer here with us Don’t buy this.
